Nice sneakpeak after a while. It is a bit of surprise to see Priya this casual with a person she hadn’t met in 12 yrs or so. And it didn’t look like they were friends even then,

But I don’t have any problem with her spending time with Krish as long as she doesn’t hide the fact they are proceeding with the investigation (I think she had told him from the looks of the sneakpeak), his obnoxious step family stopped him from continuing, no such restriction on Priya. I wouldn’t mind even if she doesn’t update Ram whenever she meets Krish as part of the investigation,

I had the same mindset with Ram & V too, except the birthday track I never thought Ram spending time with V (he never actually voluntarily spent time with her) was wrong, he wasn’t aware of her intentions, his thoughts were pure, and tbh he never ever discussed his marriage or Pri with her, or asked for assistance from her (as blamed by many after seeing misleading promos and BTS). The moment he came to know her mindset, he sent her off. Why I had problem with birthday track was more to do with V than with Pri, he thought Pri was ignoring him, hence thrown a temper tantrum by giving importance to V. Basically he used V to instigate a reaction from Pri, which was actually unfair to V, if V was a genuine person, wouldn’t have been misleading to her?

Why I am saying all these is,. I see an entirely different reaction when it comes to Pri-Krish compared to Ram-V, I would agree that Ram-V was stretched thin and got repetitive and I don’t know whether the extreme reactions were a result of it, but for me it looks like double standards,

p.s : We don’t know about Krish’s motives either, so, I am not comparing Krish and V. I am only comparing the reactions to Ram-V and Pri-Krish from the perspectives of the leads. The only difference in these 2 tracks I see is the timing, Ram-V was before, during and after the love realisation whereas Pri-Krish is firmly after realisation.

My mum had a batchmate and my parents came across him (roughly after 10 yrs) while travelling somewhere

Mum wasn't friends with him either but it was an easy conversation. And now he's friends with both of my parents.

The point is, being familiar with an acquaintance is easy. And cracking a joke or two isn't a big deal.

Yeah, it does happen. I think people are surprised here because of Priya’s usual demeanour, she always gives out an impression nobody can get close to her. I would take her current change of treating Krish as a casual friend as a proof that Ram and this relationship has mellowed her down.
