So I am watching this beautiful Pak series called Parizad and I can't help myself from sharing this soulful piece of dialogue from the show with u guys ..
So the scenario is mostly same as the scene where Vedika talks about second chances with Ram. NM acting over there was excellent but that scene and there after Ram's turmoil on the same was so badly written and directed , with no proper continuation in the next episode , that the scene simply fell flat for me..
So over here , there is this pretty girl called Naheed, whom Parizaad loves. But she wrongs him , exploits his goodness in ways that is heart breaking since he is poor and doesn't have a good status. Years later Parizad is a successful business tycoon and Naheed has problems in her marriage . So she goes to Parizad and indirectly asks for second chances..
So guys, read these dialogues first as it is and then by replacing Parizaad and Naheed with Ram and Vedika
So, after Naheed asks for second chances, following is the dialogue of Parizad
Parizad - " Janti hai ye sab aap uss mohalle wale Parizaad se kehti , toh shayad iss waqt yahi par uska dil bandh ho jata..
Maine saari zindagi ek nazar ki tamanna me guzari hain..
Ek pyaar bhari nazar.
Kya kya nahi kiya maine uss ek nazar ke liye, class me awwal aya , college me , university me shayar bana, mazdoori ki, paise jama kiya, sone, chandi ki dher laga di, magar woh nazar , woh ek nazar mere hisse ka muqqadar na ban saki
( These lines go so well with Ram Kapoor. He is so love deficit in life. He works hard , fulfills all wishes of his family to get that one loving glance from them, but alas he doesn't get it šš)
Aap to aaj bhi uss purane Parizaad se milne nahi ayi , jo banda aapko dekh bhi nahi sakta tha.
Dekhe ( He signal's Naheed to look at him and continues)
Mere ankhon me aaj bhi wahi ihtiraam(respect) hain aapke liye . Par zindagi ne mujhe bohot dikhara hain, bohot zakhm diye hain,bohot chalni hu mai andar se, logon ko yeh nahi pata
Naheed - Jo zakham maine diye , uska marham main ban sakti huun ??
( Same as how Vedu pedu took the blame of Ram's apparent miseries and indirectly asked for second chance)
Now guys, just look at the beauty and dignity with which Parizaad , turns down this offer.
Parizad - " Kabhi aap hi toh thi mere har dard ka marham ( reminds of how Ram used to sleep with Vedu's photo kept towards one side of his bed )
Magar apne dil par haath rakh kar puchiye usse, ki agar aaj mai wahi purana mohalle wala Parizaad hota, jo ghanto dupahar dhoop me ghar ke bahar intezaar karta tha , ki kahi shaam me der na ho jaye, toh kya aap uske zakhm par bhi marham lagati ?? "
( Naheed is speechless at this question)
Parizaad continues
"Mera maqzad har kis aapka mazaak udana nahi hai, aur na hi aapko kathere par dalna. Itna kamzarf nahi hu main." ( But he manages to do that and how š¤£)
"Par sach toh yahi hai ki aaj bhi aapki nigah par woh nazar nahi hai, woh ek nazar jo sirf Parizaad ke liye ho, kisi ameer aadmi ke liye nahi
Mai janta hu ki aapki halat ne aapko andar se tod diya hain, magar halaath ki kharabi kisi se mohobat ki wajah nahi ban sakti, aur nahi mai aapke kisi kamzor lamhe ka phayda uthaunga kyunki mai jaanta hu mohobat me zabardasti nahi kari jaa sakti "
( I wish we get this kind of second chance dialogues between Ram and Vedu)
I literally don't mind 3 episodes or even a week full dedicated to Ram and Vedu if this is the level of writing. Ram-Vedu dynamics have never been well written in this show ..
All we get to see is downright creepy scenes with her holding his hand , jumping on his bed, hugging him , screaming about her feelings and love at the top of her lungs right in front of Priya .
The first thing that came into my mind when Vedu asked for second chances was , it was a direct attack first on Ram's integrity , his self respect ( Even without Priya in picture ) and then second ofcourse to Priya and his marriage.
She can't dump and take him back according to convenience .
I understand Ram doesn't see this as an attack on his self respect and the makers r planning to take a mental health route to procrastinate her real intensions exposure, but nevertheless , I want some better deep assertive dialogues for Ram if at all she asks for second chances again or does any kind of creepy gullu gullu , coz no woman can stand it let alone Priya.
Ram already knows she dumped him for money, but doesn't want to acknowledge it, now I really want makers to make Ram see through the fact that she wants him back for money close this loop with dignity with some intense scenes and dialogues..
But aisa toh hoga nahi .. Hoping atleast aaj ka episode would be well written and intense !!
