This one did not, infact nothing she said affected him, except the second chance… but that too… it was difficult to read… it was too abrupt for him.. he did not expect to be confronted with something like this… hence no reaction…
More than Vedika’s proposal, he was shattered due to Priya… he was heart broken..

The thing is ram gets easily manipulated when you play on his guilt in a defensive manner but vedika was not being defensive, she was being suggestive.
Ram has started to feel uncomfortable around vedika, he feels detached from her emotionally now. Vedika is just a past for him now, it's just both ram and vedika needs to accept that.
Ram has accepted his feelings for Priya but he never dealt with his feelings for vedika. Everytime those feelings were discussed his answers were always dodgy saying it doesn't matter anymore but the fact is he doesn't know about it anymore, there is no clearity and surity about vedika in his life.
He doesn't know what category to put her in. If she is only a friend or an ex.
He was already shook from priya direct rejection to a future of love, and vedika questioning his love like that confused him.
I think the question ram must be asking himself after Vedika's proposal is " Is he ready for another relationship of unrequited love?" Vedika had put this into his head, his silence could be about this also. Him contemplating if he will be ok for a lifetime of priya's friendship only, where she might never reciprocate his love, where she will be another family member who is unable to love him, where his marriage will be in name only for the rest of his life. To live with a person under the sane roof, sharing the same bed and not being able to love them or receive their love is a big commitment. And he needs to be 100% sure of his answer before he talks to Priya again.
He assumed just bcz he had fallen in love, priya must have too. He is being faced with reality that there is a very small possibility that Priya might never, no matter what he does, will never love him. And he will have to respect her that as this was his CONDITION!
