''Hey, Priya! Tu yahan?” asked Sarah in surprise. She had just been about to lock the bakery. It was getting late at night and she had been looking forward to her warm bed after a tiring day at work.

Priya shut the door behind her, looking livid. ''I am really pi***d off, Sarah di. Do you want to cook something?”

''Oh! Stress buster, haan?” Sarah arched her brow up.

Priya rolled her eyes. ''Aap ghar jao na, di. I want to cook. That’s all I want right now.”

''Tell me what happened,” Sarah stated quietly, looking into Priya's eyes.

''Go.” Priya pursed her lips, resisting the compelling pressure to share with her older sister.

Sarah shook her head and shrugged. She knew Priya could be immensely stubborn at times. ''Where is Ram, by the way?''

''Akeli aayi hu, khush?” she bit out the words, tying her hair into a bun and sliding behind the counter.

Sarah controlled her laughter, hiding it behind a tight lipped smile. ''Okay, do as you wish, Hitler.” Grabbing her purse, she left the bakery, looking forward to a quiet night in bed.

Priya banged the flour jar loudly on the counter. "Apne aap ko naa jane kya samajhte hain, Mr. Kapoor. He lied to me...Priya Sood.” Clenching her jaw, she kept muttering angrily. ''BP ki tablets lena bhul gaye aur jab maine poocha to bade acche se jhut bol diya...huh.”

Meanwhile, Ram threw back his bed covers, suddenly realising that Priya wasn’t in the room. Getting worried, he ran around the house, looking for her everywhere but unable to find her.

''Let him wake up,” Priya seethed. “When he doesn’t find me, only then will he realise how right I was.” She beat the cupcake batter, a little more aggressively than was required.

''I know where she might be!” Ram grinned, running towards the car, dressed in his nightwear.

Priya had just begun baking the cupcakes, when Ram reached the bakery. When she looked up, he was there, a little out of breath but with a gaze so intense that she stood stock still.

Gazing into her eyes, he confessed, “'I knew. Tum yahin milogi.”

''Kaise?'' she asked, feeling slightly breathless herself as he came near. Before she could gather her thoughts, in one smooth move, he had reached towards the baked cupcakes and snatched the entire tray.

She stared at him open mouthed. ''You still care only about the food.”

He caught her arm as she tried to turn away. “I care about you, Priya.” He noticed her reddened cheeks, a classic sign of his wife’s emotional state. ''I love you, Priya Sood...Priya Ram Kapoor.” Leaning closer, he placed a soft kiss on her cheek.

''Then why did you lie?” she sniffled, hating the sting of impending tears.

Widening her lips with his thumbs, Ram whispered,''This is my Priya. The woman with the most beautiful smile in the world.” As Priya blushed crimson red, he enveloped her into a hug. ''I will never ever lie to you again. And I will take all my medicines on time. Do you forgive me, my lovely wife?”

''Yes,” she smiled, holding him tighter.
