Disha and Nakuul have remained quite good friends over the years. I remember Nakuul stating that he knew about Disha and Rahul's wedding even before Rahul went for Bigg Boss and was invited for the same way back. Infact almost the entire cast of PKDH are very good friends and still in touch.

Oh that’s really nice. It’s good to see two people who not only share great chemistry onscreen also have nice camaraderie offscreen :)

Also someone correct me if I am wrong but was the actress currently playing Akki’s mom/Priya’s mami also in PKDH? I think she played Pankhuri’s masi or relative of her mom of some kind?

Given where BALH2 is at the moment, this has to be the most self aware and cognizant creation based on how nonsensical tv shows get. Props to the fact that they didn't mind taking the mickey out of themselves and what they do 👍🏼...They know they participate in some insanely shit shows, but still keep doing it because tv shows have the same cookie cutter approach to story telling toh bechare aur kya kare 😛

And surprisingly Disha popped up in the second episode. It is becoming apparent that Nakuul and Disha obviously have shared/do share a good rapport and friendship offscreen and have intermittently worked together here and there since their first show together, way before BALH2 happened 😆

Disha looks hella gorgeous in the episode and her "Nox kutte ke bacche" is the funniest line ever...smiley37smiley37smiley37...Upar se the dig at Ekta Kapoor and Ram Kapoor is so funny to watch now that they both are in an EK show and Nakuul is playing the character of Ram Kapoor! 😆...Also watch episode 3 for an insanely funny monologue by Nakuul on the plight of the poor tv actor...🤣

Also watch this offscreen promotional interview for the series with Disha and Nakuul. Their other costar Alekh says some really lovely things about them!❤️

Yeah, I remember this from way back, maybe 2015 or so. It was fun. Nice to see this again. Very sporting of Alekh Sangal, too, I must say.

I rather watch this than bade kaand hote hai, har koi villain hai.

Oh totally

For the first month BALH felt so much like PKDH to me. So many actors from PKDH, they used so much of rajshree songs during the wedding functions. And recently there was a scene mentioning Prem-Suman from Maine Pyar Kia which was even discussed between Adi and Pankhuri.

And Nasha's chemistry has stayed the same even 8 even after 8 years.

Haha.. the feel was a bit similar in some ways though PKDH started with a breezy light-hearted feel whereas balh was intense from first epi itself 😅

PKDH was much more wellmade show IMO. Written better, directed better.. good balance between good and evil, funny and sad, romance and drama. How i wish balh2 was written with more care...it had so much potential.

Yes NaSha chemistry is love ❤️!!

I totally agree. I really like BALH but I do agree there is a lot of negativity which is stretching the story now.

PKDH had a solid storyline, some great actors and it progressed very well. The only part I didn't like was Pankhuri's disappearing and her look alike's entry. And even though PKDH had negative characters, none of them were out and out negative and were not spoiler beyond the point of redemption. They were redeemed and how. BALH has characters which are beyond any point of redemption like all of Ekta's shows

Not that I can claim to have completely watched PKDH from start to finish, I do agree on this point. That show had a decent balance between positive, negative and even grey characters. Partially because being a Rajshri show they were catering to the hum saath saath hai version of a family they have built over time.

On the other hand Ekta shows have just black and white characters where they either play to the evilness or sainthood in extremes. And ab toh even the somewhat grey characters like Shivina and Mayetri are turning black and that is making BALH2 INTOLERABLE at times 😵
