Disha and Nakuul in 'I Don't Watch TV' (Web Series) - LOL!!!!

So stumbled upon this series created by Nakuul and some of his friends and it is the funniest thing ever! 🤣The series is basically a spoof of hindi tv soap operas along with the haplessness of actors who feature in them. Given where BALH2 is at the moment, this has to be the most self aware and cognizant creation based on how nonsensical tv shows get. Props to the fact that they didn't mind taking the mickey out of themselves and what they do 👍🏼...They know they participate in some insanely shit shows, but still keep doing it because tv shows have the same cookie cutter approach to story telling toh bechare aur kya kare 😛

And surprisingly Disha popped up in the second episode. It is becoming apparent that Nakuul and Disha obviously have shared/do share a good rapport and friendship offscreen and have intermittently worked together here and there since their first show together, way before BALH2 happened 😆

Disha looks hella gorgeous in the episode and her "Nox kutte ke bacche" is the funniest line ever......Upar se the dig at Ekta Kapoor and Ram Kapoor is so funny to watch now that they both are in an EK show and Nakuul is playing the character of Ram Kapoor! 😆...Also watch episode 3 for an insanely funny monologue by Nakuul on the plight of the poor tv actor...🤣

I know, Alefia/Sara played a negative role in PKDH so could’ve been a great representation of the tv soap vamp who has no other job or identity except conspiring against the leads…much like our very own useless Vedika in BALH2 😛

Yes she was the vamp always plotting against Nakuul and Disha's character. Which is why for the first few episodes it was difficult for me to digest Alefia in a positive role.

I had almost forgotten about this. Yes it was a very funny show. I remember waiting for this so bad because I knew Nakuul and Disha together after PKDH. I was like pata nahi phir kabhi saath mein dikhe ya nahi. Who knew I will get the pleasure of watching them together onscreen everyday again.

Disha and Nakuul have remained quite good friends over the years. I remember Nakuul stating that he knew about Disha and Rahul's wedding even before Rahul went for Bigg Boss and was invited for the same way back. Infact almost the entire cast of PKDH are very good friends and still in touch.
