I think the new CV who wrote the episode mistook Akki and Priya to be husband and wife and Ram to be Priya’s brother. What a joke this show has become!! 🤣

It’s sad that Shivi is shown as an airhead!! I don’t think Akki cares for her anymore. He might start exploring new grounds soon and the cheating story may become a true story soon! Akki looks so detached from the Friday episode.

I just saw the new promo and wanted to share my immediate reaction. From the button sewing promo, I get the feeling Ram is a loser! He doesn’t show any trust towards his wife, never talks properly with her( I don’t count his fumbles and mumbles as convo), but thinks physical closeness is a step towards progress…. I am not able to digest/enjoy his childishness, goofiness and 2 min. candy floss moments anymore. He talks more naturally with his ex. Maybe, after all this, they are meant to be together.🤣

I agree dear. Maybe taking a break is a good idea. You are not going to miss anything. If you come back later, Ram will be still fumbling, Priya will be still kadoos, N and V still plotting

Very rarely do I find something positive in the show these days, hence re-posting from another thread my take on a scene yest…

I liked the handholding scene though I could not get why Ram could not a say a few more words of comfort to Priya. I know he was in a dilemma of wanting to apologise but not wanting to thereby rake up the painful topic.

Why do we focus so much on apologising when we make a mistake - what is more important than reducing our guilt is comforting the affected party. Ram need not have explained but he could have at least held her hands in a friendly gesture of comforting (which he has had ample training of from his bestie ‘Vedu’!) and asked if she was ok, told her that he was there if she wished to talk.

But the handhold was nicely done and full of meaning.

1) Symbolises what Ram repeated minutes before, haan Valentines hai toh saath hone chahiye.
2) Also liked how Priya’s other fist was tightly closed, indicating her holding back & fear, while Ram’s other fist was initially closed, but when he sort of mentally decided to capitalise on the situation he curled his fingers around her hand gently in a clear gesture and his other fist opened - relaxed.

3) Again, symbolism that their togetherness may have started accidentally but now it is cautiously intentional from his side, and fearful acceptance from hers.

@ Tirchi, your penchant for spotting symbolisms is rubbing off 😃

I liked that like Karwachauth and Birthday, Valentine’s also ended in a private moment of togetherness. Only I wish the private moments would grow longer and richer in interaction/ understanding, marking the progress in the relationship.

Actually Ram is not enough. I don't understand what qualities is there in him. Acha hua sitara nahi varna best pati award deke jathathi!

Most of the time him is clueless and pointless. And others are saying. IRL he would just be that type of guy who would have two children with her and then cry I didn't get my true love! Like sirf sexual tension and physical attraction and awe. The hand holding looked gross to me, no point types!

He has beautiful fingers. But small hand noticed during IB. There handholding was all nice minus SCs overacting (I didn't notice that then, but now seeing old scenes, I'm like chee. Her ragged breaths was like a full fledged asthma attack and blushing also sadma laga hai)

Mohanlal. Tom Ellis (Lucifer) fingers are really beautiful, can play artists nicely!

Hand hold se syaada bat karna chayiye! Ram Ram bolke glorify kar re toda toh sharam karo cvs

Talking about Ram’s fingers, did his wedding ring change? I noticed today. It looks different from before. Question: why is the wedding ring worn on the right hand?

Yes, he is short, shorter than DP too. Short people normally have short hands, that's all. At my age, I don't know why am I getting attracted to someone's hands 🤣

Engineer behen, regarding the character Ram, he just don't know how to impress his wife, so he fumbles. His meaning of love is totally different from hers.

If you have watched Hridayam, I liked how Arun's character is written. Straight and up to the point. No fumble. I like the way he says, I like you and you have so many days to think but don't be late :) Same case with his second love. Indirectly asking her number :D

Each person is different :)

By the way, Ash Brave is missing. He has not been tweeting for a while now
