I have no idea . I am just lost with this show . I stopped watching last week itself. I come here and read all your updates and try to understand different perspectives shared by all of you. In a way its a learning of its own. And of course some hilarious ROFL comments from you all make my day :)
There are many things that we all agree,
1) Ram and Priya dont communicate with each other
2) Both are so different from what they showed their character was.
3) Vedika had clearly told Brinda and Kunal that she is behind Ram. Why are his friends not doing anything
4) Very less research done on basic concepts that is been shown - like no registration of theft of rick, or on Priya's license , surgery was a joke. Surgery happened on the head. Do you see any stitches? Nope. , Rick tumbled 2-3 times, by then she should be kick out on the road. Injury positions seems like a joke. No fracture.
5) Which wife will hide about a man trying to kill her husband. She doesnt seem to be worried at all. Her father could strike again.
6) Which man who profess to love his wife deeply will walk out of the bedroom late night after his wife has slept and chit chat with his ex. That too he has not told his wife that Vedika is his ex.
7) I had problem from the beginning when Priya agreed to marry Ram. How could a family of a girl agree to marry a man who walked out of the wedding ceremony. No justification can sort that out. I say this because they have shown , as if Priya has a supportive family compared to Ram.
8) Now the coming to the dialogues and backend processing. I feel dialogues are repetitive and there is no newness in the dialogues given to Ram. The flow between scenes are sometimes very confusing and some I feel are fillers. Dialogues given to Ram and Priya , when in the same frame isnt good at all. All discussions are based on Kadoos, Bharosa, Akki and Shivi. Seriously?? Editing , let us not even go there.
9) This is another issue very less screen space for leads . Most time shown for plotting planning . Last but not the least Vedika gets more screen space.. She is there in almost all the scenes. I dont understand why. Her presence and plotting is becoming very boring and predictable.
The originality and brand BALH seems to be getting lost in this Vedika plot.
Absolutely agree with you. You just spoke my heart! Even I have also stopped watching the show. I just come on the forum to check the updates and go through all your hilarious comments
If someday I feel that the episode had good Raya moments, I watch it, otherwise just skip it. For the last few weeks, since most of the days the forum's verdict is just to skip the episode, I hardly watch it anymore, maybe just one episode per week. The quality of this show has seriously degraded, here are my two cents as well :
1. I totally agree that the leads don't communicate at all. We can even count on our fingers the number of times the leads had a heartfelt conversation with each other, that too mostly when either of them was drunk. Was this show about two mature people falling in love with each other in an arrange marriage or is it a cheap spin off of Suicide squad where the villains form a team? Looking at the number of villains this show has, it's likely the latter.
2. They gave no base to Ram & Priya's relationship at all. We fell in love with them just because of Nakuul's and Disha's acting prowess, otherwise to be very honest the leads neither have dialogues with each other, nor they have scenes with each other & the only time when they come in a frame together is when they have some misunderstanding. That too most of the times they are talking in their heads. Ram falling in love with Priya so easily after proclaiming that he will never fall in love again felt too easy to me. They didn't even have friendship to be very honest, love is still a distant concept.
3. I have never seen so many villains in a show, it has become such a mess that none of the tracks are coming to a completion. For the first time I am seeing that the leads are looking like side actors. Vedika, Nandini and even Sara I think gets more screentime than Priya & Ram.
4. Priya who ran to the police station to report her sister's accident on her engagement day, suddenly doesn't care to report a murder case when she nearly lost her life while saving her husband? They have simply butchered her character. And the way she was so casually talking to her father about trying to murder her husband made no sense at all. Kachoris mattered to her more than confronting a murderer who attempted to kill her husband twice? Can't he attempt a third time?
5. I totally agree with you that Ram's friends are totally useless. Brinda and Kunal know Vedika's true intentions, still they are acting like nothing happened.
6. Ram & Priya's scenes have really become repetitive. Priya crying every time that she is Khadoos, Ram saying mujhpe Bharosa karo and Ram asking her to untie her hair, well that's become too much now. Don't they have any other romantic scene than Ram untying her hair for the hundredth time? The editing is totally crap. They show one scene and then abruptly jump to the next. Like the day after Ram's birthday, that was so much rushed.
7. Highly illogical tracks like the license plate fiasco, the Kachori kaand, the auto thela kaand, the entire Anjali fiasco, Vedika staying in KM for almost 3-4 months now, exaggerated birthday drama. I agree that ITV shows lack logic, but if that's the case they shouldn't have set the characters of the show like that. The leads of this show had great potential and were different than the rest of the ITV leads which attracted us to the show, to think that they have ruined such great characters in this absolute mess, that's the sad part!
8. God bless the CVs who cannot even take feedback from the audience that they are not liking to negativity in this show. Vedika's extended screentime also proves that they have no regards to us whatsoever. They have really made an absolute mess!
