How true. Ram probably surprised himself, when he saw Priya and the contract, he forgot about Vedika. Even earlier, from the very beginning, she was interested in him as a person. "Where do these come from?" Then, day after day, situation after situation, Ram became completely immersed in Priya. And this jealousy of Neeraj is a manifestation of care (Ram knows that his ex wife is a damn asshole) and normal male passion, reinforced by glances at his wife in the format of continuous eternity. If we return to Nееraj, then Ram perceives him as a rival because Priya once liked him, from which Ram's passion manifests itself even more, loses all boundaries. It's only Priya herself who causes the most confusion, especially in situations of intimacy, whether it's Diwali, a rainy birthday night, getting ready for Lori, or any other moment in between.

I don’t think the realisation was rushed, it was a abrupt… at times when confronted with a urgent situation the inner most, subconscious emotions are exposed and one is left wondering if those feelings are even true.

This is what happened with Ram, he had fallen for Priya long back. Agree, earlier it was more of intrigue (their interaction in the bakery where he offers to drop her home and she says she will manage, or when she says I will manage my own transport for their first meeting, or even when she orders ghee Upma) then respect (when she signed the prenup, took a loan at 22%) and I think he fell for her after the TV interview, followed by his realisation regarding why Priya got Shivi and Akki married and Karwachauth.

It was gradual, it was evident, just that he was so attached to the idea of being in love with Vedika, that it never struck him. An idea that deep rooted needs a strong jolt to break free, which is what happened with the accident, the fear of losing Priya was so grave that he just bared his soul in that moment.

I don’t think he will oscillate between Priya and Vedika, but the sudden realisation has left him bewildered too and hence the after thoughts. This thoughtfulness is a good sign as often one might get over emotional and act impulsively, at least he is taking time to eliminate any such confusion and be clear if he has really moved on.

There was something that he saw was common between them from the beginning. They both were living for their families . More than differences , its the similarity between them that made him to notice her.

Then came the day , when got to know abt her past . People thought he will hate her but the opposite happened as he was able to relate to her pain. He admired the way she had come out of the past and was able to tell the world that Neeraj didnt matter anymore....because that is one thing he has been struggling with. He wasnt able to come out of his past. He thought accepting it and embracing it would help him handle it with ease but the reality is , it only gave him more pain.

This admiration slowly turned into respect , when she signed the contract papers, eventually paving a path towards trust. And on the day of Karvachauth he was surprised by the fact that she actually understood that he was also on fast. Till date no one actually cared or tried to understand him , so to know that there was some one who thought about him was a special feeling .

Then when she declared her strong support in front of the world through that interview , he knew she was the one who he has been wanting all life. This feeling got even more stronger after he fell ill and she walked to the temple . Who wouldnt want to be with a person who cares for you so much rt?? But the fact was Ram couldnt pin point this new feeling and he thought of it as care/responsibility everything except love. Because for Ram love is associated with Vedika . Period.

Well life is all about surprises . We think , everything is as per our plan but there is one omnipotent force who will play a different card and even before we realise what happened, there is a new turn in life. Ram had never thought his wife would give her life to save his. And then when she lay still in his hands , all he wanted to was to have her back in his life. That is when he realised what she meant for him.
