@bold: that's true actually, IB had really good cast too. They all had very good onscreen and offscreen chemistry. And also NM was the ITV Bahu on that show that's why he got all the good dialogues and scenes in IB but here ram is not ITV bahu na 🤣

When there is fear, you may end up having lots of emotions. Ram has not given any name to his relationship with Priya. As mentioned earlier, she has become a habit, more like a room partner whose company he enjoys. He has been always lonely and Priya has given him company. Love is always associated with Vedika and for him, the perfect wife symbolizes Vedika, remember, in earlier episodes he used to say how lucky Shashi is. Something should trigger the exit of Vedika for him to fully associate love with Priya

🤣 I think in an interview he even said how shivaay was the main character in IB and he got all the dialogues and difficult scenes🤣and he really made fun of shivaay himself🤣

IB ke time se NM is a character with lots of self importance, woh actually ITV ka vamp hai IRL 🤣

He tries to play SRK and talk about wage gap and stuff. Khud syaada paisa leti di aur tour jaati thi jab SC glass jar mein burial ground mein kahi tapak thi hoti phir bhi bahut progressive baaton mein aage 🤣

I think vedika was the perfect wife to him until priya came along. Now he doesn't think that vedika is that perfect girl but he keeps on saying that how priya is a perfect daughter, sister, daughter in law, bhabhi and even wife. She plays all her duties and roles with perfection. His thought process has changed a lot since his marriage. And he has given a name to their relationship which is husband and wife. He never refused priya her rights, respect or place in his life and home. It's priya who refuse to accept all that rights and love that comes along with a marriage because she doesn't want to get dependable on this marriage. It's the emotions that are not labelled in front of everyone which will change when he confesses about his love for Priya.

Especially after Diwali track his feelings shifted for Priya and they kept growing with time and most difference was felt by him during his quarantine separation from priya. He cares about her more. When vedika is hurt then only he can think and see Priya. He has long ago stopped associating vedika with love and perfection he just needed to realise that conciously.

Not once after his marriage he looked at vedika with any feelings or vulnerable stare. In his heart he knows he had moved on, it's his mind that he needs to sort out now. There was a time when looking at vedika with shashi or someone even mentioning them together would get him to tears but now all he worries about his relationship with Priya. Vedika doesn't effect him in the same manner anymore and he just needs a conscious realisation of that. And this track is only set for that.

For Ram to consciously realise that vedika is no longer an important part of his life. His life has started to revolve around Priya for a long time now.

Of course, money plays an important role. I think NM is one of the highest-paid actors. Wage parity is always there in any industry. A couple of female actors have been vocal about it but not sure anything has come out of it. I don't know if these male actors who are supporting the pay parity situation mean it or not. It could be just a self-promotion gimmick, we may never know. You all know how PR works, right. I am only bothered by what the actors do onscreen, offscreen, I don't bother.

That's the whole problem, naa yaar. His head has to accept and for that Vedika's image has to shatter. Let's see how CVs play it 🤪
