Well, you can try to put one and one together, but logic many times don't work in real life. They are sisters but that doesn't mean they will react the same to their father abandoning them. For eg, in my own life, we (me and 2 sisters) had gone through financial hardships which shaped our characters later on. While my younger sister reacted to it by confiding in her friend circle (where her friends are as important as a family), I turned towards myself, took up a job to support my family (found peace in that) and confided in them. (Didnt have any friends due to my stammering, health issues etc)

Real-life doesn't see logic, people are emotional and just react in different ways to same situations. And that's just normal.

In fact she shud hate her father the most and take it out on him and not on the world. She shud b least affected by him bcoz he's the wrong doer. Instead when he spits out venom she is silent but she taunts Ram. In fact she shud taunt the father!! (Of course I do know she sent him to jail.) She cud hv done it to him earlier when he cheated on her mom or atleast later when he used to interfere in everything and bother them!!

She does not taunt Ram anymore and she also gives it back to her father when she has to, when it's about putting him behind the bars or telling him she hates him on his face. The same woman got her father behind the bars for the husband she was to divorce in a day....As a kid she might have been delusional to think she can get him back by doing good in life..by doing what he expected a son to do...With Ram she was cynical in the beginning...but now she is too caring and loving as soon as she gor to know his real self and there is no denying that...

Exactly..one can't see things logically only till they don't face it .when it's the situation u face..you react the way you are capable to react or understand at that point of time..

Ya that's true, although the dialogue by Sara looked pretty rushed and not a real backstory. Different people can react differently!

I don't know how old is Sara but she should be like 40? Slightly older than Ram?

Then if Priya 10 years old, Sara would be like 18, and Maitreyi is 6 or 7, Sandy would be just few months old, being fourth girl child for MS who runs for another woman?

So Priya would be ideally most vulnerable, she is old enough to understand but not old enough to bear! But becoming first in everything came out as odd though. Priya didn't seem as an ambitious person to me, she is just content with making her ends meet, she didn't seem like the jack of all trades either, specially dance and sports! And it was not necessary, I don't understand the necessity to make the FL good at everything!

It's a very common practice for people to shun girls who out perform! Remember one girl being killed for getting more marks some years ago! So a studious, independent girl might be a threat to MCPs like MS!

The most odd part of the show is casting, does Meera Ma look like these girls mother 😅 And Akshay looks older than Priya with his wierd unblended foundation and ab kya hua expression, Meera, Nandini and Ram are in similar age bracket! I don't understand why others don't find this wierd, it looks very wierd to me though!

Regarding the age bracket I agree. They all actually r in the same age bracket and it does look odd. And MS might be targeting Priya bcoz she was very good at studies but wasn't a boy?

I Think Meera and sara both are meek women, who believe in forgiving men for their gravest of grave mistakes. If Priya was 12 Sara might have been 20, so that way, she might have had her own upbringing by then as a woman, a lot of it taken from her mother.

Priya had it different. She might have loved her father till and even after she was rejected by him. Listening to stories and bringing logic would not actually do justice to the amount of justice a teenager feels on being not recognized by the father after seeing him with another woman . She knew he cheated her mother in ways , where there was no returning back. She lived those moments , what and how it affects different people is a different story all together. I think she was the one who turned out to be the one who questioned him more, she even questioned him entering her house and she was the one who was also brilliant as a student, all this made her being hated by her father more and more... She was the one who his "son" could not be and still not hence the hatred.

Some can get casual about relationship, some bitter and some even more serious. Neeraj was the final nail in coffin for her and in between she saw many other men, in form of her friend's and sister's husbands.

@bold Agree.

Ya right! That part is what I feel to. But the way Sara put it through looked very abrupt no exact backstory to feel it's a thought about track. But in a way it also solves why Sara is pushy on Priya to dress up and all, because she feels Priya would have been a different person if all these didn't happen to her. It's her way of undoing the wrongs that happened to Priya.

The casting of Nandini is kind of passable if we think a young Nandini did lure Ram's father by her beauty and grace. So she can be just 21 or something and adding Shivi/ Shubu (who ever is older, let say 25)

Makes her just 47 or so which makes her just nine years older to Ram! (That makes me sad for Nandu though, 21 saal mein, 13 waala bache ne aunty/mom kaha hoga usse 🤣)

Sara being 40, Meera's casting is Dumbo wierd levels!
