The continuation from Ram's monologue yesterday to Priya's monologue today was so so beautifully done. They always overdo it with Nandini and her son, so I ignore that. But Priya's monologue led to a cute fight rooted in lack of perception.
Both of these emotionally jarred people use the idea of the 'deal'-marriage-of-convinience as a shield against dwelling on their feelings for too long.
I am reminded of how Ram had a flashback at the florist's where he had echoed Priya's exact words regarding roses to Vedika. He stubbornly cut that flashback out and bought lilies for Vedika. Similarly, Priya used that "hero"-taunt today to not deal with how much Ram's earnestness impacted here. They miscommunicate and fight because the alternative is talking about their new feelings. Vrinda called them out on their shit today like the best friend she is.
Her husband is still a man child though.
