Anyone else finding the Ramayan references weird?

Why must Ekta dramatise everything? I don’t understand the need to compare Ram to Lord Ram and Priya to Sita. AND there is a Hanuman too, in full get up 🤷‍♀️ What in the world is happening?! 😳

Was there no other way to make viewers feel that Ram-Priya are meant to be? Is it necessary to make things unnecessarily religious and dramatic, when the whole feel of the story till now was more realistic?

I feel like I landed into another show mid way, after watching the shaadi sequences. Nothing is making sense from a story perspective. It looks like two different people worked on the script and hastily executed one of the most important parts of the show.

Arrrggghh! I am so disappointed! 😒

Too many actors / side characters, like wise there many be too many writers/ directors/ editors too in the background together they are serving us this messed up Kichadi of a show

Thats becos Ram-Priya is getting married on Vijaya Dashami thus all these references it can be aviodable but than its EK she will dramatize it

technically Ram cannot be Bhagwan Ram because he loved Vedu before 😆 Still probably loves her 😁

They did kind of bring out the references randomly. And Priya as Sita does not make sense to me 🤷‍♀️ She seems more Drapaudi like(character wise, not story wise). If anyone including Ram messes with her, she would probably kick them 😆

I like well thought out symbolism- this Ram-Sita reference was definitely not one of them.

They actually have Ram-Sita reference its not abt their past love,its abt their marriage life that will go Ram-Sita way i have already saw the glimpse

Ram is just like Lord Ram who worships his father and a person who can do anything for loved ones,families and he respects Nandini who is his step mom just like Lord Ram respected Kaikeyi

Nandini is ditto Kaikeyi who has a motive to shower love upon Ram but her real intentions she wants her son to rule

Ram's father is Dashrath who hands over family responsibility to Ram just like Dashrath handover his kingdom to his son Ram

Priya has qualities of Maa Sita minus all her bitterness & anger in life & after marriage more of the qualities unfold as a wife to Ram at the same she needs to walk on agnipariksha to prove her love for Ram just like Maa Sita,its not path of roses for her after marriage there are thorns for her & every step it will prick to prove her love loyalty &

The biggest fear Ram listens to Nandini just like Lord Ram listened to Kaikeyi & agree to go vanvas. We might not get vanvas here but fact remains that Ram will listen to Nandini like a obdient son & due to his blind love & trust on his stepmother,Priya has to walk agnipariksha

The Hanuman is Brinda & Lakshman is Aditya with Kunal & Vikrant being Bharat-Shatrughan in Ram's life

They are so many reference of Ram-Sita on Ram-Priya if you look deeper and this why Ram-Priya got married on Vijay Dashami & the reference on Ram-Sita on them

If EK is creative enough they can show vanvas too for Ram-Priya just like Ram-Sita in which Ram looses his wealth due to family & he was ask to leave and Priya supports him and follows him as his wife

Ram-Sita is known for loyalty & faithfulness to each other & their love grow after marriage with all those separation did not fade their love but strenghthen their love even more to fight battles infact all those battles they fought including separation they were loyal & faithful to each other

They went from wrapping up drama fast to bombarding us with drama and stretching the wedding so naturally it looks like a different show. I didn’t really like the Ramayan references too. I’m waiting for the marriage track to end.
