Vikram: I need you to find out everything about a person, I need to know about his family and his past.
Guy: Sure, about who?
Vikram: Ram Kapoor
Guy: Ram Kapoor, why do you want to know about him?
Vikram: that should be none of your concern, just do as you're asked to.
Guy: ok, give me a week and I'll have it to you.
Vikram: I don't have that much time, I need all the information by tomorrow morning, I don't care how you do it put all your contacts to it but I need to know this immediately
Guy: ok sir I'll find out everything somehow,
Vikram: ok, then I'll give you a call tomorrow around 10
With that he hung up, he couldn't take a chance with this one though after hearing Ram' honest reply, he was sure he was going to keep her happy but for the sake of his conscious he needed know more.
While Ram was over the moon there was so much he needed to do, although Priya knew that he loved her, he wanted to tell Priya about his feelings himself wanted to hear her feelings but before that he had to go out and get something.
Changing into something less formal he went out to Cledor diamonds and Gold jeweler's showroom. As he walked in he was greeted by the manager on duty who instantaneously recognized him Mr. Ram Kapoor, what a honor to have you here with us sir, this is Ravi Verma.
Shaking hands with him, hi,
Ram: hi, the pleasure is all mine (ofcourse it is getting your lady booked).
Ravi: is there something specific you're looking for?
Ram: uh, ya I need to purchase a ring.
Ravi: sure sir, we've an excusitive collection of rings.. let me assist you with them, this way please and he showed Ram many rings no not this one, no not this one...
Ram: I want something simple yet something with a eternal look not these flaunty huge diamond rocks. Bowsing through to the next set of rings he came across a beautiful ring, "perfect" he said as his lips curled into a smile
... I'll take that one.
Ravi: sure, and in what size would you need it in?
Ram fumblem I am not too sure of the size but let me see the smallest size you have,
Inspecting the ring, no this may be too small let me see the next size up; yes this one should do! I'll take this.
Ravi: anything else.
Ram: no that's about it, thank you; making the payment kept the small velvet box in his pocket and made his way out to the car. He was happy, he wanted to call and tell Maa and everyone at home that he'd finally found someone... Maa is going to be over the moon when she finds out, getting the phone out he started to dial when he rememberd wahan per toh raat ke 3 baje honge (I don't know about the time diff if there is any...just made it up here), well then I'll just call them tomorrow. He zoomed in front of the hotel and went to his room; putting the box safely on the table, went in to freshen up a little.
Ring Ring
Vikram: hello
Sudhir: Vikram kahan ho, intne din ho gaye tumhari koi khabar hi nahi hai.. tum apna phone bhi answer nahi kar rahe the.
Vikram: Hey dad, relax, mujhe thore dino ke liye bahar jana para tha aaur jaldi mein apko bata nahi saka, kher aap batayeh sub kaise hain ghar per?
Sudhir: yahan per sub theek hain, tumhari Mom kafi naraz hai ki tumne phone nahi kiya n ayesha ko bura laga ki tu usee apne saath le nhai gayee aaur Priya ko le gaya n yeh chood . Kher tum batayo meeting hui tumhari? Kya lagta hai?
Vikram: jee Dad meeting toh hogayi aab do teen dino mein pata chalega ki kya hua.. waise toh theek hi thi meeting.
Sudhir: toh kya lagta hai tumhe project hume milne ki kya chances hain?
Vikram: Dad, abhi kuch kaha nahi jaa sakta (just then it had occurred to him, he had totally forgotten about this project in all the excitement) lets see.
Sudhir: theek hai Vikram apna dhyan rakhna, aur agee kya hua keep me informed.
Vikram: jee, the phone went dead..but he was sitting there with the phone still in his hand something had caught his mind but what? it had been a few minutes he heard a knock by which he came back to reality, looking at the phone at his hand again he heard the knock putting the phone up opened the door to find Ram standing there.
Ram: I hope I'm not disturbing you!
Vikram : oh, no please come in.. baitho
Ram: nahi I wont take much of your time, umm I wanted to ask you something.
Vikram: Kya he asked curiously.
Ram: Vikram can I take Priya out for dinner he said in one breath.
Vikram: wasn't sure of what he should say, but knowing whatever little he did about him, and looking at the happiness on his face, he didn't have the heart to turn him down, despite the fact that he wanted to refuse until he got all the information from that guy.
Ram who was loosing his patience by each passing second not getting a reply, tried to maintain his calm, patience wasn't one of his favorite virtues but was trying very hard to display some until it reached upto his neck..uhh. Vikram
Vikram: haan Ram
Ram: kya mein Priya ko leke jaa sakta hoon?
Vikram: haan, per bring her back by 11
Ram by 11 he thought but isse pehle ki yeh manahi karde let me get out of here, saale shaadi hojane deh phir dekhonga tujhe he mused comically..
Ram: definaltely I'll bring her back by 10.. thanks and he left.
Reaching his room he walked over to the table and picked up the velvet box, taking out the ring and placing it on his palm he dialed Priya's number.
Ring ring, ring ring
Priya: hello
Silence
Priya: hello.. not getting any response; agar baat nahi karni toh phone kyun kiya hai?
Ram: Priya
Priya: Ram
Hearing his name from her he sighed..
Priya: Kaise phone kiya Ram?
Ram: hmm lets see, phone uthaya aur tumhara number dial kiya, its actually not too hard tumhe bhi try karna chaiyeh!
Seeing him pull her leg she couldn't help her face going red, thanking her stars that he couldn't see her.
Priya: very funny.
Ram: Kya wanting to further tease her
Priya: kuch nahi kuch baat karni thi tumhe?
Ram: baatein toh bahut saari karni hai tumhare saath per aise nahi
Priya: toh phir kaise?
Ram: milogi toh batayunga
Priya: smiling to herself, she wouldn't want anything more than to meet him right now but abhi toh mili thi bhaiya se kya kahongi? ' Ram abhi toh tumse mil kar aa rahi hoon'
Ram: mujhese kab?
Priya: Ram main maza nahi kar rahi
Ram: aaur mujhe bhi iss tarah ka mazak pasand nahi hai... aaur uss lunch ko tum milna kehti ho?
Priya: haan
Ram: woh sub choro, but seriously chalogi mere saat aaj raat dinner per?
Priya: Ram, meh nahi, mera matlab hai aaj nahi phir kabhi, aaj he Vikram bhaiya wapas aye hain toh unhe bura na lage..
Ram: uski tum chinta mut karo, tumhare pyaare bhaiya se pooch chukka hoon.
Priya: her eyes big, what tumne bhaiya se poocha
Ram: haan maine uss saale se pucha... Regretting those words as soon as they left his mout... "oh cr*p"
Priya: tumne mere bhai ko and she hung up the phone.
The phone went dead.. with Ram gaping with his mouth open..
