Honestly, I'm not someone who gets sentimental easily. Till late evening, I was taking it all in stride. Was saying to myself that "It's just a daily soap. It had to end someday or the other." I couldn't even watch the last episode on TV as my cable connection is down.
When I finished watching on YT, I realized I've tears in my eyes. The BG music of "kal subah tum kaise inhe chod ke jaoge...mere saath inhe bhi toh tum bahut yaad aaoge" hit somewhere real close to heart!!!
Things end...people move on! For the next couple of months, I won't know what to do at 10:30 in night. Many of us will feel the same. But then we will get used to it. But the memories will always live on.
Getting excited when a new promo comes...getting angry when one of the antagonists plot something...drooling over Rashi...laughing like kindergarten children on seeing NeVik scenes...going aww over little Pihu(and the big one too)...we will miss all these!
The show has helped us come across some wonderful people. Make new friends...some of whom we will be in touch with for the rest of our life...some we will lose contact with. But it has given us moments to cherish! For a lot of young people(like me), it's also probably helped us understand the deeper, true meaning of love! It has made so many of us take to writing & well, some are excellent at their penmanship. Above all, it made us happy. Giddy happy!
