PART 6

By the time Vikram reached the restaurant Ram was seated in their favourite corner and was looking for Vikram impatiently.
V: Kya hua Ram? Idhar kyun bulaya..main ghar par aajata na?
R: Haan..lekin main bahut confusion mein hoon. I wanted some deviation, so I have asked you to come here.
V: What happened yaar? Any problem.
R: Yeah big problem.. (how to tell you)
V: Kya hua?
R: Hmmm...
V: Lemme help you buddy, share with me.
R: Vikram tu jaanta hai na mere baare mein..mujhse jyaada.
V: Haan.
R: You know how oriented I am regarding my profession and my ambition.
V: Yes.
R: I never cared to fall for any girl and jo bhi friends hote the unhe bhi mera ambition sunne ke baad they used to tease me and taunt me. So from then I totally avoided them.
V: Haan..toh..
R: Kya toh...abhi pura nahi hua..chup chap sun.
Vikram just nodded his head.
Ram continued I am 32 now and ab iss umar mein how it will be if I go mad for a girl..woh bhi ek baar usske ankhon mein aansoo dekh ke..kya jadoo hai yaar un aankhon mein?? Ek hi jhatke mein mujhe pagal bana diya..he was lost in his thoughts..
V: Ram snapped his fingers but Ram didnt respond. Kya baat hain Ram tu toh apne khayalon mein kho gaya..oye hello..
Ram didnt react.
V: (loudly)Hii Priyaaa...here here.
Ram shot his head in that direction. He saw no one.
Vikram was laughing uncontrollably.. Oh my God..Ram you are lost in Priya's dreams and I was like a fool disturbing you. Am extremely sorry haa..he didnt stop his laughter.
R: Was embarassed but tried to cover it up. Tu hassna band karega yah main chala jaoon.
V: Rassi jali lekin bal nahi gayi.
R: Snapped the table chup..bilkul chup yaha main apna takleef share karne aaya..
V: Haa bachu tu takleef main hai kya..main toh samjha tu Priya ke khayalon me hai..issiliye saamne mujhe bitha kar tu aankhon ke jadoo meon doob gaya. Aur mujh pe rop dikha raha hai.
R: (Shit) Scratched his temple..so u got it...then tell me why is she disturbing me?
V: Haaww how would I know?? Kya kya chala hain aap dononke beech mein mujhe kaise pata hoga?
R: Tu taang keechna band kar aur isska solution bata. Am going mad thinking why this is happening to me aur woh bhi iss umar mein.
V: Mr.RK if you dont know then its called LOVE...Pyaar kehte hai isse okk and age ufff kaunsa buddha hogaya hai tu ki itna soch raha hai.
R: You didnt get my meaning..see am not a teen to fall in love at first sight and all. I am more matured and can think and once I have set my priorities in my life its very difficult to change okk. Then how can I enter a relationship which needs compromise? How can I forget about my ambition. I still remember so many used to chide me about that. So I have stopped discussing. If I marry someone what if she doesnt understand me or my feelings or my dreams?? Ufff Lekin I think she knows hypnotism. Ek baar usske aankhon mein dekha aur tap hogaya...
V: Laughed..Its not like that Ram. How many years you will postpone this marriage thing? May be you would get a wife who understands you?
R: Common Vikram, you only said no one can stand my arrogance.
V: Haan I know but if she loves you then she will and why would you be arrogant even with your wife?
R: Nahin yaar.. am scared to enter this relationship.
V: Hmm I can understand Ram.. but tera dil jo bol raha hai woh bhi sun..ek baar..sirf ek baar. If am correct you are liking Priya..and she is not a hypnotist ok she is a woman with good heart. I hope you will think and decide properly. Frankly dil ki maamlon mein sochna wochna nahin rehtha, you have to listen to your heart. Agar tumhari dhadkanein usse apna maante hai...toh you cant help it. You have to go for it.
Saying that he came and patted Ram on his shoulder..I have to tell this to dadi.
R: No way. You will not okk. I am not sure about my feelings so you better keep quite.
V: Hmmm lemme think..hmmm
R: Abey kya bhao kha raha hai. Tu chup rahega thats it.
V: Ok man. As you wish.
Ram got up and faced Vikram, woh am sorry for talking with you like that in the morning. I was just..
V: No no I can understand. It happens.
R: Thanks yaar, by the way what you were doing there.
V: Its none of your business. Chal abhi drink order kar. I am happy..really very happy for you. Hope you would take right decisiom and act soon. I am eager to get a bhabhi for you and if she is Priya am even more eager.
Ram glared him and mimed a curse under his breath.
V: Haan haan main sab janta hoon. Bolde kya kya bolna chahtha hai. I am not scared.
Ram gave a smile and rolled his tongue into his cheek.
Both had good time talking about random things and left from there after an hour.
Ram dropped Vikram at his home and he drove to the hospital where he had a surgery to attend.
Vikram called Neha and told her the discussion between them.

Neha went to Priya and pulled her from sofa and hugged her. She was jumping madly.
P: Kya hua..tumhara Radhe ne kuch good news diya kya.
N: Yup..lekin woh news mere liye hai aur good tere liye hai?
P: Woh kaisa news hai?
N: The famous CT surgeon Dr. RK has fallen for Dr. Priya Sarma as she hypnotised him with her beautiful eyes.
Priya was smiling and blushing at first but when Neha finished the line she was having a confused look.
P: What? Come again?
Neha repeated the line and Priya was like what was that? Neha told everything Vikram has told her.
Priya had no words to utter..aisa kaisa bol saktha hai Ram? Main kyun usse hypnotise karoongi. What nonsense is this?
N: Chill yaar..you have seen RK. You might have understood him little bit. Why he will believe that he is falling for you and he loves you?
P: Saara ilzam mujhpe laga rahe hai.. I wont leave him.
N: Meri maa itna seriously mat le.. abhi woh pyaar mein naive hai. Hota hai hota hai aur woh bhi RK jaise insaan ko aise doubts aa sakthe hai.
P: No I will deal this. Ok. You just see.
Saying this Priya went into her room. Neha didnt disturb her as she wants her to be peaceful.

The next morning Priya was getting ready. She was going to remove the clutch to comb her hair. She was shocked to the core when some one kissed on her neck(near the shouder). She yelled NOOO and turned herself.
P: Nehaaa you are such an idiot, I was scared like hell.
N: Am so sorry yaar but the mole was sooo tempting. I couldnt help it.
P: Shit, you are not supposed to kiss okk.
N: Ohhh then only RK is allowed and supposed to kiss it seems.
P: Will you just shut up.
N: Really Priya, being a girl iss mole ne mujhe maar daala toh I can anticipate Ram's excitement when he sees it.
P: Oh my God you are a gone case. I will kill you for sure.
N: Marne ke liye ek banda ready hai hospital mein, jaake usse maaro na, mujh bechari ko kyun marna chahthi ho..phir mera Radhe akela hojayega.
P: (Hit her head) he is good with out you..she stormed off from there. She turned deaf ear to Neha's calls and got into a cab.

Priya encountered Ram at the entrance of the hospital itself. She had a smile as he was standing there tall and dashing. She kept her head down, bit her lip and holding her erratic heart beat composed herself and went near lift.
Ram saw Priya in the last moment and he excused himself and came towards lift.
R: Very goodmorning Dr. Priya.
P: Goodmorning Sir.
He was looking side ways just to have a glimpse of her again and again. She wantedly kept her gaze down.
Both tried to enter the lift at the same time and so they were about to collide. Priya stopped and took a back step. Sorry sir my eyes were wide open still I came in your path. First you.
Ram was taken aback with that and he thought she isnt as innocent as she looks. He was in his thoughts but Priya's voice brought him back to present.
P: Sir the lift is waiting if you dont want to come shall I go. I have so much work and I have been told that I should be on my toes always as it is not a desk job. So please.
Ram was totally baffled now. How she is taunting me. I have to retort her. Yes madam I am going in I too have loads of work.
All the while Priya was suppressing her laughter. When he turned his back she had a huge grin. Shaking his head Ram entered the lift and Priya followed him. Then she understood the mistake she has done..Oh Noo I should have entered first somehow I dont prefer standing infront of him.
As she expected she could sense his intense gaze from her behind. She wanted to get out as soon as possible but as few other doctors entered the lift she had to move little close towards Ram. Everyone greeted Ram and he was smiling and wishing them. She was standing an inch away from him.
Both had same heavy heart with raised beats. Seeing her so close to him he was lost in her beauty. His eyes were fixed on the mole her neck. He uttered beautiful in a tone that only Priya could hear him. She closed her eyes and gulped to control her nervousness. She was praying that she should get out of that lift soon.
The other doctors got out in the next floor and Priya moved a bit away from Ram.
Ram was enjoying this as he could sense Priya's anxiety. Now the ball was in his court. He took his phone and acted as if he called someone.
R: Vikram..kya batau yaar...subah subah itni beautiful view..Ufff...
Kuch nahin just now I have seen a beautiful black dot in even more beautiful place...Oh my I just wanna loose myself in that crook enjoying that dot.
Priya was unable to believe her ears she understood what he was talking about. She let out a hawww and covered her mole with her hair. She wanted to question him but she stopped herself as she very well knows how he would react.
She came out of the lift and went towards ICU.
Ram came out of his dream world and was surprised with his own behaviour. What was I doing? What she will think about me? Ufff hope she wont get angry. Seriously am losing myself here. I should be in my limits. But when he remembered Priya's face he rolled his tongue into his cheek and smiled. He shaked his head and entered ICU he was now in RK mode.

Priya checked her patients and gave the instructions to DMO and moved towards the door.
Madam..
She stopped and turned back. Yes doctor what do you want?
DMO: Madam am sorry but RK sir has asked for physician referral and he wants that to be done now.
Priya couldnt believe Ram would do something like that to play with her. She went to the counter and asked for case sheet. DMO asked her to come to bedside as it was with RK sir. She said she will see the patient later. But as RK wanted to discuss the case now itself she had to go.
Priya was having so many doubts in her mind. What would he do? Will he yell at me? Taunt me? Tease me? Is he playing with me? Why he is using a patient here? I cant even avoid. Kya karu main.
Priya reached the room in the meanwhile and stood near the patient. She wanted to talk but words were not coming out of her mouth.
DMO: Sir, madam has come.
RK: Oh Dr. Priya please see this case. His bilirubin levels are little bit high. I went for LFT and if you please check them once and give your valuable opinion it would be of great help to me.
Priya checked the case sheet in detail and all the while Ram was talking with patient's attendant. He was explaining them why the surgery was being delayed. Priya felt bad for misunderstanding RK, and she finished checking the case sheet. She took history, examined the patient and looked towards RK to discuss about the patient.
P: Excuse me Sir..
RK turned towards her. She deviated her eyes so that they dont meet his gaze.
RK caught this but he didnt react.
P: Sir this patient is on Lisinopril for past 6weeks and that wasnt entered in case sheet. As you know it causes liver damage now we are seeing the changes. So am stopping that drug and will review the case again. Will change his antihypertensive too.
RK was surprised with this disclosure. The way she extracted the history he was impressed with her. Thank you so much "Madam" you have lessened my headache.
Priya shot a look at him and wrote her notes in the case sheet. Ram was explaining the patient and his attendant that he cant be operated now as his blood pressure was high and liver too wasnt working normal. He assured them they need not worry about surgery but follow his instructions. He asked DMO to be more careful from now onwards while taking history.

At the same time code blue was announced. As it was in ICU itself she asked sister which bed. Sister informed her.
Priya left the things as they were and went to that room.
P: Sister, what happened and what's the diagnosis?
S: Madam its an RTA with leg amputation. He was fine until now. Suddenly he lost consciousness and isnt responding to call.
Priya checked the carotid pulse (pulse in neck). She didnt feel it. As the rescue team didnt arrive she took up the charge.
She asked sister to remove the pillow and adjusted the patient's neck and keep an airway. She asked for one more IV line.
She asked the DMO to come to the other side.
P: Vitals?
Sister: Pulse and BP are not recordable madam.
P: Load the drugs.
She started CPR and the nurse maintained the airway and stood at the head end with BVM. DMO was standing on the other side of the bed. He was looking for anaesthetist's arrival. Another sister was loading medicines and another nurse came pushing the Defibrillator.
Priya gave 15chest compressions and asked the DMO to give next 15. Once the 30 compressions were finished she asked the sister to give 2 rescue breaths. She checked for chest movement.
They repeated the cycles(30 compressions followed by 2breaths with bag mask ventilation is a cycle) for 2minutes and checked the pulse again. She couldn't detect a pulse. She checked for airway obstruction.
P: Shot.
Sister gave the loaded medicines into the IV line.
Priya was feeling exhausted still she didnt slow down.
P: Defibrillator..
Sister who was ready with the paddles gave them to Priya.
P: Clear.. I need 180 and placed the paddles on the chest.(DC shock)
There was no heart rhythm on pulse oxymeter.
P: Make it 360.. Clear..she again gave a shock.
The anaesthetist who came running a bit late was just awed at her.
The ECG monitor was showing heart rythm. Priya heaved a sigh and checked for carotid pulse.
P: Vitals?
DMO: Pulse is palpable madam and Bp is 90/60.
She auscultated for heart beat and checked the oxygen supply and asked sister to keep dopamine drip and came to counter and sat in a chair as she was exhausted totally. All the staff were busy with that patient. She was thirsty and tired.
A glass of water was given to her and she gulped it and asked for more. She thanked the person who gave her water and seeing RK with water bottle she tried to stand.
RK: Easy..easy Priya, you are tired. Be seated, no need to show your respect now.
Priya was staring at him. Even now he is teasing me!!!
RK smiled and said congrats, you have saved a life.
P: Thank you, but its our job.
RK: Yes ofcourse still I am impressed the way you lead the team.
P: Thank you sir. Its...
RK: Can you walk now?
P: Yes..but why?
RK: Come lets have coffee..
P: Sorry sir I have to go to OP.
RK: Yeah I know, just 10minutes please spare for me.
P: Astonished the way he was talking with her but she got up from chair.
She told the DMO that she would come back later to check the CPR notes.
They both went to canteen and there Vikram was present already. Priya gave a feeble smile to him and Vikram was grinning broadly.
V: Kya baat hai, aap dono ek saath?
RK: Tu ab shuru mat ho, "Madam" is tired after CPR so I have offered a coffee.
V: Oh so that code blue was attended by Priya.
RK: Yes and dont worry patient has been revived.
V: Yeah I have heard code green was announced. Good job Priya.
RK: Yes, am impressed.
It took some time for Priya to connect to their discussion. She didnt miss the sarcasm in Ram's tone when he was referring her as madam. She bit her lip and thought I will not leave you for this.
P: Ab itna bhi mujhe praise mat karo. I just did my job.
RK: Yes you just did your job and didnt leave it in the middle even if you were tired. That shows your dedication.
Priya was unable to believe what she heard. "SIR" you are appreciating ME... oh my heavens. The sun might have risen on opposite side.
RK: Gave a wicked smile, no need to taunt ok.
P: Taunt? Me that too YOU..Dr. RK ..never sir.
RK: Priyaaa
P:(self) OMG...I will die one day if he calls me so sweetly.
V: Hello guys ek banda yaha baitha hai..please have a look at him. Aur coffee bhi aagayi issi wajah se iss waqt hum yaha mile hai na.
Ram and Priya both laughed and the three enjoyed the coffee. After finishing it Priya understood why RK asked her for coffee. Her energy levels were better now. She took her bag and excused herself saying "Now I will go to OP again I have to come back and read about hypnosis. She smiled at freezed Vikram and gave a pout to Ram and left the canteen with a smile.
Ram was like see she reads hypnosis I told you...
V: Haa haa shayad I dunno come lets go to work now.(Nehaaa...)
Both went towards their cabins.
In the canteen Raj who witnessed all this was fuming with rage and thumped the table.

Priya finished with her OP and was feeling tired and hungry. She came out of the cabin and got into the lift. She reached reception and was going towards canteen.
PRIYAAA... she heard an excited squeal..
P: (Self) Oh my who is that yelling in the hospital. She turned towards the voice and was staring at the person with disbelief.
She ran to Priya and hugged her she was talking fast but Priya was still in a state of shock.
Hellooo...Priya am talking with you..what happened. Why you are frozen like that.
Priya came into this world after shaking.
P: Natasha????
Natasha: Haan Priya..Nuts, your Nuts. I am really really happy to see you here.
P: You..here??
Nuts: Common Priya, am from Mumbai.
P: Yeah but who told you am here.
Nuts: Arey baba I came here to meet my bhai and seriously I was surprised like anything seeing you here. Am just you know..by the way why didnt you contact me for past two months??
P: I tried but your number wasnt reachable.
Nuts: Oh shit, I have changed my number and I forgot to drop you message. Am sorry yaar, rather am blaming you.
P: Smiled Haan aadat hogayi hai.
Nuts: Priyaaa..
P: Yaha se chale..sab hume 8th wonder ki tarah gur rahe hai.
Nuts: Tapped her forehead. Oops sorry chalo will introduce you to bhai.
P: Nuts yaar am feeling hungry.
Nuts: 10minutes madam, I too will join you for lunch.
P: Chalo then.
Both got into the lift and Priya was just left her ears to Nuts who was talking non stop. She just wore a smile seeing the same old Nuts unchanged even after 2years.
Priya didnt observe where the lift was going. It reached 4th floor and when the lift doors opened Nuts pulled her along with her. Priya didnt remember Nuts' bhai's name and she wanted to finish this soon and go for lunch. They came out of lift and Nuts stopped in her tracks squealing Bhaiii..
Priya stopped short and looked at Nuts bhai...She gaped seeing RK infront of them.
Nuts hugged him and wasnt controlling herself. She was so excited and Ram was pleasantly surprised to see choti at that hour in the hospital.
Ram: hugged her.. Choti ti kab aayi..aur hospital?
Nuts: Haan bhai wanted to surprise you. Lekin bahut bada surprise toh mujhe mila.
Ram: Woh kya?
Nuts pulled Priya and showed him Priya.
Ram was staring at Priya and was clearly confused now.
Nuts relieved both of them from their shock.
Priya meet my bhai Dr.Ram Kapoor aka RK top most CT surgeon and bhai meet Dr. Priya Sarma my mentor.
Both were still staring at each other with disbelief and shock.

Note: Guys in this update I gave RK falling for Priya but he was confused sometimes and you may get so amny doubts regarding their love happening so soon..yeh fiction hai so just see it as fiction. Hope Ram and Priya's parts have pleased you this time. I tried to give how doctors run to save a life but if there are some flaws please bear with it as I cant give the entire procedure. I love each & every scenes of your update

You beautiful wrote this update, It's

I like Vikram-Ram scenes, Neha-Priya Scenes, Ram - Priya Scenes, Ram-Priya-Vikram Scenes, Nuts - Priya Scenes very much
Neha Kiss Priya in her neck, her dialogue & same feeling Ram also having when he seen her mole in lift, i like these scenes very much
Priya Attend that Code Blue, That scenes are Superb
