TOI: Chahat QUITS BALH/ to get married next year

The New Year will mark a new beginning in Chahatt Khanna's life ' both on the personal and professional front. The actress, who has been in a relationship with Farhan Mirza, the eldest son of writer Sharukh Mirza, might enter wedlock.

She says, "There have been a lot of speculations about my equation with Farhan. I am dating him. I feel blessed to have him in my life. He treats me like a princess. Our families are aware of the relationship and are happy for us. Farhan hails from a royal family. His grandfather was a nawab from Lucknow. He is into the construction business and owns a company." So, is marriage on the cards anytime soon? She says, "It will happen next year."
After her marriage ended on a bitter note, Chahatt was in a relationship with Kanan Malhotra, currently seen in Rab Se Sohna Isshq. But it was not meant to be either and she no longer wants to talk about it.
The actress has also quit her telly show Bade Achhe Laggte Hain. She attributes her decision to creative differences.

She confirms, "I have quit the show. My character is going haywire; it's not shaping up the way I was promised. I was told that I would be the parallel lead. But it hasn't turned out like that. My character is bitchier than I expected it to be and there is no scope of growth for it. I will shoot for four more days and my track will end this month. It's been nearly two years of shooting for a daily soap; I need a break." Much deserved, we say.
