I totally agree with you. Ram's character has always been like that. When he loves, he loves unconditionally and when he gets mad, it takes time for him to realise that there could be another angle to it as well.
Ram's anger here is justified, but he should and he eventually will see things from Priya's point of view and won't separate Pihu from Priya. but at this point in time he is angry and so he is doing that to Priya.
