Meanwhile.. Ram Acted as if he had gone to see the doc for his leg... and came back home normally.. as if nothing had happened... There was celebration in the family.. Ram said the doctor had given him a green signal and nothing at all was wrong now... no pain either... Lulfi was ordered and all gathered in the hall for a gala time... Priya was the only one who was a bit gloomy ..
Nuts: Bhai... To prove ki aap ka pair thik ho gaya hai.. aapko dance karna padega...
R: Dance... no no...
Not caring for his no's, the family continued forcing him..
P: Arre kariye na dance Ram.. maine kabhi nahi dekha aapko dance karte hue...
Everyone grew silent.. Even Ram did not say no...
R: Dadi.. meri baat suniye... agar mai dance kar raha hu... toh aapko nahi lagta priya ne mera sath dena chaiye thha...
Everyone was happy and started teasing the couple...
Ram extended hid hands and Priya gave her palms... He pulled her into his embrace and she wrapped her hands around his neck... both started swaying to the music... lost in each others eyes...
The family just kept adoring the perfect couple...
They stopped in a while... But the family persuaded further...
P: nahi nahi.. ab bas...
But ram pulled her back in his arms... Still swaying to the music.. Priya slowly whispered..
P: Bas Ram...
Ram nodded in negative..
P: Please...
R: Tum hi mujhe dance karte hue dekhna chahti thi na... ab jhelo fir...
Later at night.. she remembered dadis wish for the next day.. she had to cook...
she was tensed.. we all know her cookin abilities... She wend and told all of this to Ram...
R: Priya.. Priya relax... lets figure a way out... Ill help u...
P: Aap ko ata h khana banane??
R: Haan toh... Tum samajhti kya ho mujhe??
P: OMG ram... Aap.. Mujhe nahi laga tha aap jaise ko khana banane aa sakta h...
R: Matlab!! Arre mai jab hostel me rehta thha hum roz khana banate thhe... Mess me khana bakwas hota thha.. Aur spl toh tab hota thha jab doston ki gf's aati thhi...
P: Accha.. Kya banate thhe??
R: Kichdi.. Har tatah ki...
P: Ok.. im impressed... aur...
R: Aur kichdi...
P: aur..
R Aur Kichdi..
P: Shee.. sirf kichdi??
R: Haa toh... roz alag sabzi dalte thhe na usme...
P: Rammm...
R: Ok ok.. on a serious note... i know a bit of cooking... hum karenge yaar sath me.. dont worry...
The next morning, The couple were all ready and set.. They cgalked out a detailed plan... They decided the menu and their plan of action was all set... they knew what each of them was supposed to... Accordingly... Ram was sitting on the table chopping vegetables when Chachi passed by... She tried to stop him saying kapoor khandaan ke mard khana nahi banate...
Ram however turned the table saying arre khana bana nahi raha.. sabziyaan kaat raha hu.. meri biwi ki madad karna mera farz h... mai ye uske lie kar raha hu ..
Chachi looked at him lovingly... Ram, in his mind smirked... Aaj to chachu ki khair nahi...
He continued cutting vegetabled when priya came up to him...
P: Ram maine cooker chadhake 10 min ho
chuke.. Ab tak siti nhi baji...
Ram turned to look at her...
R: Ye kya h??
Priya looked at what he was pointing to..
P: Ye wo cooker m pada tha toh nikal lia mne..
R: Priya... ye pada nhi thha... Ye washer h... Siti iske wjh se bajti h.
Soon Ram went to the kitchen and did whatever was necessary... Their rice wqs done.. sabji and raita was ready... dal done... all that was left was roti... And the task ahead was to knead the flour... Both were weak at the task...
P: Ram ye kaam mujhse nahi hoga... Boht ganda lagta h mujhe.. mai ye nahi kar sakti please...
Ram started kneading the flour... Priya stood by him looking.. In a sudden movement, he just pulled her hand and put it in the flour and held it there... She tried to remove it.. but was unsuccessful... She pullde her hand out and eiped yhe wet sticky flour on Ram hitting him...
Soon the flour was ready.. Priya tried rolling it into rotis.. but they came out dishevelled... Ram tooh a cup and turned them into puris... After all thr flour was rolled into puris, it was now time to fry them... Priya was scared... Ram put the first puri into the hot oil and Priya turned her face away.. Ram slowly put his hand around her waist.. she clung onto him...
R: Priya dekho toh.. kitni acchi puri bann rhi h...
She slowly looked at the puri...
All done, it was test time...
