Sudheer: Priya's dad.. H's brought her up
single handedly.. He's a father, friend philosopher and guide to her.. he loves
his daughter and listens to whatever she says.. there are no secretsbetween
them.. He's Priya's best friend..

Amarnath: Ram's father, the rich
businessman who rose to heights on his own.. He came from rags to riches with
his efforts.. Loves his family to the core and wants Ram to follow him in
bsiness..

Krishna: The sweet bubbly mum of Ram.. She
loves her family a lot and can do anything for them.. Especially close to Ram
and He shares all his feelings with her.. She wants him to join the family
business too..

Natasha: Ram's sister.. Loves him a lot.. so
does he.. They love spending time with each other and watching movies
together.. or playing games.. She's her father's pet'

Dadi: Ram's dadi.. The pillar of the
house.. The brainy one who solves all the problems at home.. Anything happens,
all rush to her to get it solved.. She has only one thing in mind.. to get her
grandson married.. see him settled..

Madhu: Ram's bua.. A divorcee.. staying with the
Kapoor's.. Ram loves her a lot.. She's practically brought up Ram.. Seen him grow..
He goes to her with all his problems.. He tells her things he might hesitate to
tell his mom..

The story of two adorable people, Ram and Priya,
who have their own aspirations and goals in life. Ram dreams of making it big
one day in the U.S in the field of Architecture,Priya herself has lived in
hostels all her life, away from her small family of just her father and has
been very independent and confident about her career moves and choices in life.
Both these individuals hold similar thoughts about marriage:
"Futile", "Pointless" and "Pressurising". They
have been dodging their respective families that think they are soon passing
the "marriageable age". In a turn of events, they find themselves
sitting opposite each other to please their families and to consider each other
for a life-long commitment. That is when both realize how they dislike the
concept of marriage and how they are not even in love, forget that, they do not
even like anything about each other!!! And finally how they end up falling for
each other'
