Part 19:

Priya moves out from one of the elevators on 21^st floor of Kapoor industries office at BKC.The iconic building emphasizing its grandeur while standing substantially amongst the silhouettes of other commercial buildings. 'Yeh Mr. Kapoor bhi na''thinking to herself, continues to walk towards Mr. Ram Kapoor's cabin. 'Thank God yeh pen drive humesha meray saath hota hai,' looking into her hand bag for the pen drive 'Urgent Meeting!' as she moves forward hurriedly, hears 'Ouch! OMG'' before she could say the same words, finds that she has just bumped into lady coming from the opposite direction in equal haste who was busy in talking on phone before the hit. The lady was carrying the file; the loose papers from the file touched the floor after flying in the air for sometime errantly.

Priya: I am so sorry.

The lady: Can't you see'. (Shouts)

Both bend down to collect the papers.

Priya: I said 'sorry'.

The lady: (Annoyingly) careless workers'Don't understand how Ram manages!

Hears 'How Ram''

Priya: Excuse me! You too are at fault. How come you derive the conclusions about others in excuse of your mistake? (Calmly)

The lady: Ohhh! I see. You have guts to talk. The over confidence is hinting me that you hold a decent position in the Ram Kapoor's organization.

Priya: (Though irritated by the lady she somehow controls blushing about 'position in Ram Kapoor's organization', handling over the last paper to the lady) nothing can stop you from speaking out the fact if your heart is clean & mind is strong. (Laughing sweetly)

The Lady: Interesting! (Moving her hand forward for hand shake) Miss. Yashika Dewaan! You can call me 'Yashika Maa'm' or 'Miss. Yashika'!

The girl about whom Vikram was talking about, Priya understands.

Priya: (Bit puzzled, bit shocked how to introduce about herself) I am Priya. Nice to meet you Miss. Yashika but I don't work here & I have to leave now. I have some urgent meeting so..

Yashika: Ohh! Surely you can leave. Thanks. Next time please be careful while walking. Bye.

Priya: Thanks for the advice. I will make sure. Bye.

As the employees at Kapoor Industires greet her while she walks from entrance at corridor to work area, she reaches at the reception desk. As usual Mrs. Shenoi greets her with smile, informs that Mr. Kapoor is busy in the meeting. Priya realizes that she is late & maybe the meeting has already started. She stands outside Mr. Kapoor's cabin knocks on the door. After waiting for sometime when she doesn't get reply, she calls Ram.

Ram: Haaa'Priya!

Priya: Mr. Kapoor may I come in. I am waiting outside your cabin for last 5 minutes, you are not replying.

Ram: (Shouts) Kamaal karti ho yaar! (Bites his tongue on realizing he is in conference room with his employees who are looking strangely at him, smiles smoothly looking back at them) Excuse me.

Priya: Sorry, I know I am late. Par aapne last moment pe mujhe kahan toh late...

Ram: (Talks with her in low voice) just go inside. Why do you need permission?

Priya: Meeting suru ho gayi hain aur? I am feeling nervous for being late.

Ram: Don't worry this is another conference, the meeting has not started yet.

Priya: Ohhh no! peheley bolna chahiye tha na, I was so worried.

Ram: I am in the conference room next to my cabin. I will be there within 15 minutes.

Priya: Ek toh mujhe achanak call karkay college se jaldi-jaldi mein bulaya aur khud dusri meeting mein hain.

Ram: Wait. You will realize soon why I am making it so fast.

Her lips twitch into smile; she diverts their speech to another topic.

Priya: Can I use your printer? Meray pass meeting kay liye abhi sirf soft-copies hai.

Ram: Phirse permission. Please be comfortable. If you need anything ask Silvi.

Priya: Ok'bye.

Both hung up the phones. She enters into the cabin, keeps her handbag on the table, goes to the window & opens the curtains. The window has a view of a water-body & terrace garden at 18^th floor where cafeteria is located. While absorbing the beautiful view for a moment she senses a sound, as if presence of something. Yes something exists, other than her some living being is in the cabin trying to make it's presence known. As she turns around to see, her breath stops looking at the jet black dog standing, 10 feet away facing her. His crimson red colored eyes emitting fire, as his jaw starts opening in wider degree angle, displaying it's pearly white chiseled teeth. She stands shivering there, her hand goes towards her heart & another clinches to the curtain tightly. She realizes the horror as the dog starts moving towards her direction with saliva dripping from his mouth. She tries to move backwards but hit her back against the glazing wall. Before she can do anything further a huge cry escapes from her mouth'

Though he is sitting in the conference room, the enclosure designed with sound-proofers, all of a sudden something hits in Ram's mind. Unknowingly he gets up from his chair swiftly, in the middle of conference. His left hand slams against the elliptical table top 'Damn it! How come I can forget?' Without addressing anything to the bunch of people in the conference room, he runs to the door which is having direct access to his cabin, leaving the people around him awestruck

Yashika: Snow! Come here'baby! (Her Baby doesn't bother to turn & look at her.)

Priya: Please'do something.

Yashika: 1^st of all why did you enter in the cabin Priya? I will try but even I am new to him.

Priya: Please Mr. Kapoor ko call karo.

Yashika: Mr. Kapoor nahi, you should pray to God. (At the exact moment, their head turn to look at the door on hearing the sound of opening from conference room)

Ram enters in the cabin, with trembling heart but swift motion; the picture in the cabin doesn't look good to him as anticipated. 'Okkk Priya. Don't move I am here. Tumhe kuch nahi hoga'

Priya's face glows with joy looking at Ram. Though the dog has crossed the half of the distance from where he was standing before & he continues to keep making strange but horrifying voice Priya looks invigorated after Ram's entry.

Priya: Mr. Kapoorrr!

Miss. Yashika Dewaan remains puzzled staring at them.
