Unfortunately, Darling wasn't used as a term of endearment by Ram..it was used sarcastically😭..his tone and choice of words quiet frankly shocked me too.😕

The use of "Darling" was Ram's expression of making Priya feel cheap and degraded, just as much as he was feeling insecure and threatened. It was by no means a term of endearment or flattery, it was a harsh insult, making her cringe at the very mention of it. He wanted to lash out at her as his own lack of self-confidence and limitations were exposed.

However, I still feel that Priya was not entirely flirtatious, she was merely a fan complimenting a TV star, and seemed very much in control of what she was doing. After all, considering what was going on, she did rush to Ram's side and played the part of his beautiful wife without any hesitation in Ronit's presence.
