Television actor Pawan Shankar who has earned fame through Star One's serials is now in news from past few days. It was reported earlier that soap queen Ekta Kapoor is all set to bring a new show on Sony after the huge success of love tale Bade Acche Lagte Hain.
However, the latest news is that Pawan Shankar has been roped in to play the male lead opposite Mona Singh. As per the sources from Balaji Telefilms Yash Tonk, Khalid Siddiqui and Amit Sarin were also approached for this role, but Pawan Shankar has won the race. In fact, he was finalized at the last minute. Pawan has been finalized to play Mona's husband in the show.
It has been heard that the story of this untitled show revolves around a husband-wife, where the husband gets involved in an extra-marital affair. Rumor has it that having tasted success with their mature love story, Bade Acche Lagte Hain, Balaji Telefilms now wants to experiment with the concept of infidelity. As earlier reported, the show will be loosely inspired from the hit Bollywood flick, Biwi no. 1.
The shooting for the show is expected to start in December and the show will go on air early next year.
