Niharika must have been a young beauty who married a man with a son nearly her own age.

We are forgetting an important fact, Niharika is a very wealthy woman, who has all the means to defeat age, and has less stressors in life than other women.

I think that in the case the young casting for Ram's stepmother was deliberate. In one of the earlier episodes, they showed a flashback wher Ram's father confessed to him about his infidelity with Niharika. Niharika was shown as a young woman with young babies and Ram was shown to be an adult in this flashback. He just calls her "maa" out of respect. She looks old enough to be the mother of a 24 to me personally. Nowadays rich people get botox and all of these expensive treatments to look young lol

This was the first question which came to my mind watching the first episode of BALH. And I guess Niharika in real life may be younger than Ram.

yhh but remember she is his stepmom...the woman his dad had an affair with.she had to be fairly young because her kids were babies and ram was a grown man when the dad died...id bet she is prob only a few years older than ram..thats why she dont look old..but i like the actress they chose to be niharika..i think she plays the character PERFECTLY
