I wanted to share my thoughts on today's episode really quickly. I am moving to a diff city (wish me luck!) and I'm not sure if I'll have access to the internet.
That balcony scene was magical! It brought the promos to mind again...I mean the aesthetics of the promos...quietly funny and touching and above all, REAL.
Loved that Ram was looking for Priya as soon as he entered the apt.
LOVED that his thing about the rain was not a tirade but his opening conversational gambit 😆...his quirks so far have been portrayed in a rather dramatic way, but today's scene was subtle and understated...I'm searching for the appropriate words here but these are the ones that keep coming to my mind.
Loved that he had this grimace on his face as they stood apart on that balcony...he grimacing and large and she elegant and perhaps a little shy/embarrassed...they looked just right together...
Loved how he reacted to her response...the way he wished her a husband who could feel love was simply too charming. He's a curmudgeon sometimes but he's such a charmer!
And I must say Ram Kapoor looked good today!!! He's quite handsome and has the most amazing smile! ok i'll stop gushing now 😆
Loved that he spoke his mind to her...it was a real conversation and I'm so happy that the bells went off in Priya's head. She remembers every word of that bathroom conversation, doesn't she?!
I think Neha was absent today because that would have confirmed it for her. Ram kept mentioning the names Neha and Vikram over and over again and no doubt this was so that they could connect the dots for Priya later. But obviously sooner or later she will know that it was indeed Ram and I hope he finds out that he spilled deepest feeling to none other than Priya.
I loved how her mind kept turning to him, even as she was appreciating her fiance's gestures...
I like that there's a mental connect...not love or anything like that but a connection nonetheless.
(Ram (like most men) is clueless and it will take him more time...in a way I wished they'd showed him feeling some vague sense of unease or loss...but on the other, I'm glad they didn't. This is just real, again, just right).
My hopes: I do hope that Ram hasn't arranged this fiance dude for Priya, because that would be underhanded and mean. I hope they don't go there...that would be out of character...
It's useless to I try and predict what they might do to bring about the Ram-Priya marriage, but, I wanted to throw this open to those who want to come up with scenarios that are NOT outlandish and melodramatic and soapish, but real...
