Except...who's the Khiladi and who's the Anari?😆
I must say, till the first half of the episode, I was going to dedicate my post to Agasthya. That man really tells it like it is. I usually dislike TV serial heroes and like the heroines more because the heroes always fit into this 'tortured soul' or 'mamma's boy' stereotypes that annoy me to death.
But Agasthya...he's something else. Shyaam was an out-and-out negative character, but Agasthya is this beautifully grey character. On one hand he's smart and suave enough to know about his uncle's tricks. He insults his family-a trademark of today's insensitive youngsters(me being one of them😆), a far cry from the dutiful sons of Akhil's generation.
But at the same time, he is ignorant and naive in many ways. He is unaware of the true motives of Nandini and Meera, and he cannot predict which one of them will win in the Battle against Balraj.
Today, his bluntness with Meera really impressed me. He is the only person in the house who neither judges her, nor does he overly sympathize with her. In short he's the only normal person in the house. (Niranjan comes a close second. Akhil and Shyama are tooo angelic to be considered human in my opinion😆)
But then in the second half, Balraj sprung his move. He is truly the master manipulator 👏 Hats off to the CV's for scripting such a fabulous villain.Balraj Asthana is something else. He will never let you hate him, because he manages to fool everybody with that layer of 'I only look evil, but I care about you' to him.
But then comes the question: Who's the Anari here? We all must be thinking that Nandini has fallen for Balraj's trap. However don't forget that Nandini has been secretly maintaining contact with her father, without telling Balraj. Nandini is capable of hiding anything! We shouldn't make the mistake of assuming that she is as gullible and 'bholi' as Akhil's mom makes her out to be😆
I think the real player here is Meera. Even Badi Beeji and Agasthya can make their moves only with the knowledge they have of their house. But Meera is an outsider. She doesn't have any loyalties, any past associated with this house-not that we know of anyway. She looks innocent, but is she really? How is it that her mother has no clue what's happening to her? Maybe she will come back from London at some point😆
Right now, what remains to be seen is whether Meera confronts Balraj about sex-determination or not. BTW, Balraj is so stupid in a way!! I'm not promoting sex discrimination, but families who want it done always go to shady doctors, not reputed hospitals. How arrogant he can be if in this day of sting operations he thinks doctors will tell him the sex of the baby just because he's Balraj Asthana? 🤔
Oh and I stand corrected. Meera does have guts. She's not a puppet. I am yet to form a permanent opinion though. Right now I don't trust anyone in this show😆
Finally, I will say that the kitchen or rather kindergarten politics in the house is really annoying. I mean just look at the way everybody sat Nandini down like a five year old kid and told her how precious she was. And the next morning they were shamelessly gossiping about her husband!🤔 What does Nandini do in her room the whole day? 😆 I was shocked to hear Balraj say that she has a 'social circle'. If she does, it's the worst social circle in the entire world.😆
