Disappointed in Sanjeeda's acting!! - Page 2

Sanjeeda is one of the best actresses in tellywood. She didn't get her fame doing one serial or a reality show. She got her fame and fan following over many shows.
Her KHNK and Kayamath are one of my all time favorite shows.
She plays different shades different times.
Her character requires her to stand blank faced so she does
What do you expect when everyone leaves the table . Is she supposed to cry or laugh ? Or make weird eyebrow movements ?
I know your expectations are probably such that her acting and Aditi's acting would be same
But nandini and meera are different characters
Nandini has a lot more scope to show emotions
While no one even likes meera
By far this is sanjeeda's best performance
You can't tell she is the same girl who played Nimmo or she is the same girl who played Ayesha in Kayamath

on your point of calling me insecured : i am far from being insecure so thats not a right word for me. if i was insecured of these things then you would have seen posts of me critisizing aditi or nandini's character or constantly comparing the two women which so far i never did and dont even want to do. but in many topics you and another aditi fan targets anyone whocriticize eventhe CHARACTER' nandini's certain action as insecured sanjeeda fans irrespective of them actually being one or not. those threads are still in the forum for your re-check purpose.

Not everyone is insecure enough to comment on someone personally or blindly support a character and bash someone when they don't agree with you

Sanjeeda is highly highly underestimated and underrated as an actor.

I just dont know why she doesnt get the due credit for her acting 😕

I love Meera more because of Sanjeeda's acting. She is really good with handling Meera and not making her over-the top.👏

I know what you mean when you compared Ayesha of Kayamat with Meera of Dastaan. Ayesha was a mad shit crazy woman who could murder people in rage and Meera is nothing like Ayesha

Ayesha did all crazy stuff which required her to be over the top and over expressive in showing madness, anger or any emotion but Meera is probably the most subtle character

Even at her aggressive most times Meera has softness because the character is like that.

Meera is not reactive as a person and I would hate her to give eye popping shock expression after every 2 sec because Balraj does says shocking stuff half the time when eating.

Not a single happy thing came for her to show happiness.

The kind of shocks she showed were impressive to me . From the time the truth is known there is hardly any scene for Meera to show histrionics.

The one which finally gave her the chance to, she delivered well and strong. 👏 I even made a topic of it. It was the confrontation between the two.

Meera has to be subtle and restraint in emotions because she has to show constrast with Nandini's character whose emoting and way of reacting is a complete contrast to Meera

what is there to emote when she has no lines n when she is left out...people fighting around her...I guess she is doing pretty good job

In my opinion, Sanjeeda is doing a great job!

I don't know why u want to create unnecessary fights with me, I just pointed out that her expressions are very blank...and about crying, only 1 tear is that what u call expressing when there is only one emotion, sanjeeda does act good in some scenes, I'm not saying she's a bad actor, maybe her character requires it, but the expressions are the same in every episode, they may as well repeat her scenes or use a double.

There is nothing happy going in Meera's life for her to show happiness at the moment. Meera had few scenes where she had to cry or breakdown and she was impressive and amazing in those. More than those I feel her subtle way of portraying Meera makes me appreciate her all the more. Her acting in Ekta shows were more like Ekta style where usually one outlines every facial expression to convey emotion but I feel she is even better in this show with a more restrained way. I can watch the scene where everyone shouting at her when the pics were seen by the family a lot of times and feel for Meera simply because of the way she did it. Or the scenes in the beginning where Meera was still sad over Ani's death and her future. The scene when she discovers Nandini was Ani's wife in that Pooja. Those were completely amazing piece of performances. The showdown with N on tuesday was alo brilliant
