Ammaji was making some comparison of Beeji and Meera like how they are similar because they are not Asthanas and something lke not having good family blood 😕

Whats the mystery behind Beeji? Did she have a past like Meera's?

It was Alokha's (I think that's her name, right?) attempt to tarnish Biji to try to imply Biji was her father-in-law's mistress. Though I'm not sure if she meant to give that implication with her comparison--she may have just used it in the strict sense that neither have any connection to the family and are outsiders.

She was nine when she was brought to the family, and she in that episode, compared the elder Asthana akin to her father. Her emotion and gratitude doesn't match someone who entered into a sexual relationship with him.

I would hope that story doesn't end up having such a 'twist.'

I think Beeji was rescued from a riot by Balraj's father when she was a child. She grew up with Balraj.. in the show she is older to Balraj. I dont think there was any mistress connection there.

balraj's father brought her to the house saving her from riots. yesterday akhil was saying beeji raised balraj and akhil's father so she is in the house from long ago but u know beeji doesnt look old enough to be called beeji by balraj

If she were nine and we assume the riots to be around Partition time, she should be in her seventies. 😆

None of the 'major' riots or those ones we mark history by, fit into Biji's age. So we can just assume she's old but young looking , or she's just a few year than Balraj and the riots aren't particularly referring to the 1947 period.

No she didn't. As a child, she was lost in a war situation and dad of Balraaj brought her to his home and she's living here till then... serving this family. She never got married either.

So far as I understood, Amma Ji was saying both were outsiders and that no one knows both of their family background. Amma Ji thinks bad of Meera and she implies Bhiji could be from similar background
