rae, thanks a lot for an excellent update.
murli's speech was the highlight of the day...taking the drama to a new level where a young wife's apprehensions and her husband's assurances to her were addressed in a beautiful manner...
the writer was on message, and it looked the research was done on the issue...murli's wiping her tears was a very natural display of affection...the chemistry was there... it all looked a bit subdued though after the 10th june episode, because they were confronted with the serious side of their lives...overall, the scene was right on the message...
about four days back, i did my own little research on the possibility of bharti and murli's chances of having a normal child, or otherwise...and i found that the creatives were pretty accurate, which was heartening to see...
the question for me was, if a midget and a normal sized person have a child, will their baby be a midget or normal size?
the answer is: most likely normal size, but it could go either way. it all depends on genes.
the rest of the episode was drama... what is the future of bharti/gau relationship...how it is going to play up when they both have kids, is a question mark...we will have to wait and see...
but one thing was clear to me, murli is going to take care of bharti no matter what because he knows her value in his life and he genuinely loves her..
since there is no dwarf in murli family i guess that he doesn't have the gene . So he'll give a normal gene to the child. Bharti is a dwarf, i think she got from her parents two recessive genes of the disease and she'll give one of them to her kid. So the child would have the inexpressive disease (got the gene but is not a dwarf).
If she had a the dominant version the child would have been automtically dwarf then her parents would have been dwarf too (at least one of them) but they are not.
The only way that the child could be dwarf was if murli had a recessive gene of the disease. And still there is one chance out of two that he gives this gene and not the good one for the child to be dwarf.
My point is that the child is probably going to be okay but since this is a drama the cvs can be totally unrealistic.
And murli showed so much love to bharti through his speech, i'm moved! 👏👏👏
