Since they are about to do a leap, why don't they just kill these 2 off? I am guessing that the reason they're getting Veena married is to facilitate her exit from the show, but in that case, why are they keeping Mridala either? At this point, previous sympathy that I had for Mridang is now gone.
So is this week going to be about rescuing Veehan, or will it be about the birth of Bharti's next baby? Or will they just merge that into the leap? Incidentally, after the leap, they can kill off Kamansi, Chimpti, Dhara, and everyone in their generation, lose Veena (since she's now married) and just have Bharli and Jhumroo. Gives them a clean enough slate to introduce new heros & villains into their lives.
Interestingly, the updates (& interest in the show) seem to have dried up since the announcement of the leap. Well, if no updates, we can just keep discussing it here. Incidentally, Raj Singh looks very similar to Vikram, so there may not be much of a change in Murli's appearance after the leap, other than the beard.
