kutumb reprised

hey everyone

i don't know whether you guys remember or not but many years ago there used to be a serial called kutumb and there also the lead pair were not in love but the moment the guy realises that he loves the girl his past comes to haunt him in the form of a daughter

pratham and gauri the evrgreen kutumb pair had just realised the love towards each other when varshita entered who called herself pratham's daughter and then it was pratham 's turn to sweat it out in front of gauri to prove that the girl was not his daughter , somehow it was proved but yes pratham had to go through hell to prove this

so lets see
this track is following the exact story only i think instead of being serious it will be having a comic turn because the junior shravan will be so like shravan

ankita! i used to watch kutumb too and m glad you brought this up cuz this is exactly what is going on here too! oh now you've reminded of those wonderful days when i used to dream about pratham and gauri. 😛 oh anyway, you are absolutely right! the tracks are very similar.

i loved gauri and hiten and pratham and gauri rocked the world then

i remember i used to hate that show for the sole reason that everybody else loved it. but then i saw a few pratham-gauri fights in the show and that got me going. ohhh... what memories! sony used to have much better shows back then. BHPH is the only show after so long i've been really attached with.

@DCGirl: no. you're not wrong. even i m not happy with the "shravan-son" track although im sure it'll be funny to watch. you know the thing that i admire about this show is that every other day or two i think that this show is loosing its touch and im going to quit but no matter how unrealistic (as u put it) the story gets, i can never leave! no where else in indian television currently (don't know about past) you'll find a show thats as bizarre (in a good way) as BHPH.

I read the news article about junior Shravan.... and I was thinking, If the kid is not his son, then who would play such a prank on Shravan?

I started watching BHPH because I liked how the two main characters were evolving and I like the complexities in the contract marriage and I thought the love blooming between these two is gonna be beautiful... It is supposed to be a husband-wife love story who fall in love with each other slowly but steadily. I always used to think that most of the scenes could happen in real life to real people!! even the kidnap drama or the bhook hartal didn't make me feel unrealistic, It could actually happen to people, may be a little uncommon but could happen....

That said, I think these last two episodes and the upcoming track of a boy claiming to be Shravan's son is gonna throw the story completely off-base! I don't know how the CVs will handle it, may be they will make it gripping or totally comical.... but I feel at this point they are finding innovative ideas of how to keep Sachi and Shravan away from each other as long as possible!!

I don't want to be a spoil sport because I have loved this serial from the day I started watching it ( at the time of their wedding) but I am kindof dissappointed with the way the story is progressing......

No Jahnvi.... you haven't lost track..... I agree it has good comical scenes most of the time thats because of excellent acting skills from Barun and Ankita.... ofcourse rest of the cast members.... but I am a little disappointed to see such a beautiful plot mishandled just to increase the ratings if this bizarre comedy is what turns on the majority of the audience!! I am not bitter, I am just sad.... they are taking away Romance from the Romantic-Comedy and it will just become a comedy!!

in bold: (no offense) i kind of disagree! today's episode had a very romantic side to it. the way sanchi was all happy thinking about shravan and his love for her. the way she rocked him when he was sleeping!
agreed that the show bends more towards nonsensical unnecessary tracks but... hmmm i don't know im confused too now😕

I loved Sachi's scenes today.... her response was awesome.... she was so happy.... I already said this in my posts before that it doesn't take too much to make a wife happy.... she proved it again!
