| BBB team performs pooja for couple The Baa Bahoo Aur Baby team performed kuldevi's puja on the sets on the request of some fans. A couple and a mother of the boy visited the sets of the show recently and asked the team to take blessing from Kuldevi. Aatish Kapadia, director of the show, reveals, "One newly married couple came on the sets and told us their mother believed Kuldevi stays on the sets at the well and that she wanted them to take blessings from Kuldevi which is considered very auspicious for a newly married couple." The entire crew tried to explain to them that it is not a real well. "I tried to tell her that it is only a set and the well does not even have water in it. But J.D then decided that we will allow them to take blessings if the lady really has such belief. They came on the sets and performed a small puja, waited for some time to see the shooting and then left," adds Kapadia. The director admits that this is not the first time they have received such a response from fans. "Though it was funny, it feels great when we receive such responses from our fans. We always think that we have achieved what we wanted to after experiencing all this. People actually come from London and US just to visit the sets. Above all some Mumbaites think that this kind of house really exists and they advice us not to hand it over to any builder. It increases our responsibility as well. We have built a great rapport and never try to show anything odd which will affect children," he adds. Baa Bahu Aur Baby is the most popular weekend show on Star. Recently it won six awards at a single function. |
