Personally I feel these are so popular because they are way closer to the actual epic. None of the recent shows even come close to the actual INDIAN DRAMA that went on in the epics and purans! 😆

I don't know if it was intentional, but they made Duryodhan kind of cute in a couple of scenes. This one was funny as hell.

The scene after the revelation that Pandavas survived Lakshagriha, Dury n Karna meet, when Karna chides Duryodhan for his conspiracies and he replies something like when you tell me this, I feel what you are saying is correct, but then Mamashri says the opposite and I think nothing else could be true. Such an innocent answer you could never expect from the main villain of the epic
