Btw, a good news finally my long lost cs5 is working. But it shows QuickTime 7.1 or higher version needed. Now issue is I already installed a higher version of QuickTime. So am confused.

After learning my lesson in a horrible way, I thought to ask before playing with settings.

Do I need to install codec or stuff?! Why is it an issue?
I am kinda bugged with transferring stuff too cos my Mozilla is affected by that great secure connection lost, tried all but net has stopped. Guess I need to consult a technical person on weekend!!

Any help will be appreciated. Sorry to bother everyone so much.

Did you restart your laptop or computer after installing it. I had a similar problem where it would tell me to install a higher version of QuickTime and I already had it. I solved it with restarting my laptop.

folks, please tell me is quicktime player must for making an avi??? I am unable to download quicktime player pro, whenever I click import file in ps cs 5 it says need quicktime player for mov file something like that.

I want to start with simple avis, but I am helpless in this issue, please guys help me.

If possible share a link to download Quick time player pro, I tried many websites but there are trial versions mostly and not the pro versions, please folks badly need your help.
