The IF background is about white only, just a pinch of grey.

If f9f9f9 doesn't work for you, take a screenshot of IF BG using snipping tool. open the image in photoshop and you can check it there 😊

Vectors are used for Illustrator. Yes you can use them but only if they give you the PSD for it. Or else you will have to save the JPEG or PNG version and crop the background or so...

Illustrator is a Program of Adobe like Photoshop or InDesign. Every program has it's own good / positive working way.😳 With Illustrator you can create your own Graphics... and Vector is opposite to Pixels. When you use a Vector in Illustrator and make it bigger size, the quality doesn't change. But when you open any Picture in Illustrator and make it bigger it looks too bad... And that's the one good point about Vectors.

In InDesign you can select many Pictures in on Document. For example have you seen the magazines? With many pictures around and the texts etc... everything must be done by InDesign. It's just easier way than Photoshop. In Photoshop you have less options than Illustrator or InDesign. People use Illustrator to create Graphics. People use InDesign to create any Flyer or so. People use Photoshop to create Pictures by coloring them.

You can't download InDesign and Illustrator for free.
