@ Meenu Yea, try gradient as Abhi says. If not try this method but its a long method. If not try filters. It'll have something that render. Try diff options from them. They will be a great help in doing blinkies and animation like this.

Hmm... yeah, the same thing happened with me aswell, I have tried everything but nothing worked. I even downloaded Photoshop CC and put the dynamic link into the Photoshop CS6 folder but nothing helped. I would suggest you to use Photoshop CS5 Extended Version. I am using it for more than 3 years and it works perfect. I have even uploaded it. LINK TO:

As you can see, I am in the processes tab. There are two processes open called the dynamiclink media server (DLMS for short). Bsically, every time you close photoshop, the DLMS needs time to shut down. A lot of the times it wont for whatever reason. At that point, it becomes unusable because it is not suitable with the newest photoshop opening. Click the process, click end process, and you are done. Back to making gifs.
