I have tried the tutorials on the first page of this thread for making avis but they don't work. Can someone tell me how to make avis in pscs6 and add text on them?

The effect is mostly due to the colouring and light textures used. Play around with the colourings and use light/bokeh textures for shining effect. Set the texture to screen or light.

As for the fonts, once you've downloaded then double click on them to open the zip file and then again double click on the file that ends with ttf.
