For non-animated sigs: try saving it in JPEG or try BMP as well. The sigs look somewhat better in both.
For animated avis: if you want to save it with "no dither" then try to use less of the curves and brightness. And if you save it as a "pattern" then it looks pretty decent. I made this one using the pattern settting: http://i.minus.com/iC64KZio95H6F.gif

which website can i use to upload avi's more then 10 MB...500 by 223 pixels
