But most of them are derogatory and portray Shri Ram as a cruel husband type so I wouldn't base my knowledge off of them if I were you.😳😳 It's a tragic ending to Ramayan but happened for a reason...but we'll go into that when you actually get there, lol. Now it's all the happy stuff so I wouldn't ruin it by thinking of the future episodes.😉😆

Yes, you got it right.😃 To clarify further, though there are many Gods in Hinduism, the belief is that ultimately they are all one, and the divine trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahadev) are the male aspects of God that each have a different duty. Brahma is the creator of humanity, Vishnu the preserver, and Mahadev the destroyer. The female aspects of God are Saraswati (the consort of Brahma), Lakshmi (the consort of Vishnu), and Parvathi (the consort of Mahadev). Saraswati is the Goddess of knowledge, Lakshmi the Goddess of wealth and prosperity, and Parvathi the Goddess of fertility. Three three Gods and Goddesses are simply the male and female aspects of the same God, and they each had avatars too. Ram and Sita were the avatars of Vishnu and Lakshmi, but ultimately they are the SAME so that's why when Sita lifted the Shiv Dhanush, Janak recognized her as Lakshmi and kept a harsh vow so that he could make Vishnu come to his houe as a son-in-law. Some people misunderstand Janak's character by saying he played with his daughter's life and all, but he was actually a great saint of his time who recognized his daughter as a Goddess, and knew she could wed none other but God. To make God come to your house is not easy, so he made such a vow that Vishnu would be compelled to come to his house and rescue his Lakshmi from all the suitors who tried to covet her. And he succeeded too.
