And YAYYY we have something else in common! Andaz Apna Apna is one of my FAVORITE movies, one of the few that I love as much as I did when I was a kid, if not even more than that 😆 It never stops being funny! Naukrani hoke sofe pe chadh jaati hai 🤣 In fact I've been trying to find it with subtitles for Janu and her family to watch also. And that song as well as Elloji Sanam Hum Aa Gaye are also some of my all-time favorites. Got any other favorites in Bolly, whether actors, actresses, or movies? Can't even call this spamming since I'll use it as a suggestion of what to make sigs on next time 😉

I loved Salman and Karishma in it :D And I like Raveena too but not as much as Karishma :P

^^ Of course dearie, no need to ask! So long as the higher ups don't come a-knocking and serve us a gag order 😆 That movie's an all-time favorite along with Hera Pheri... classic comedy that can appeal to an international audience precisely because it wasn't trying to do so... very rare :)

Yup Andaaz Apna Apna is one of Those Movies which i and My Younger Brother have Seen Rofling Over thousands of times, It is Just like our all time Favourate Movie and Besides this we Watched Bade Miyan Chote miyan, Hera Pheri etc etc...These movies r just Mindblowing with Such Classic Comedy !! I Dont like any Bolly Actor Particularly, Movies Become my Favourates if they have a good Storyline regardless of the Actors 😊 Some Recent Movies I likeed r 3 idiots, (Have u Watched it ?) My name is Khan, Chak de India, Taare Zameen Par etc etc and Some Old Movies I (Not my Brother 😆) Liked r Kuch Kuch Hota he, DDLJ, Hum aapke hai Kaun, Hum Saath Saath he...These Movies r also my all time Favourates 😃

@ Lola - yea the older "comedy" movies were really funny without being overtly obvious or in your face. I love Hera Pheri and Phir Hera Pheri too <3 Wasn't there an additional sequel too called Malamaal Weekly?

I'm also a big Munnabhai fan 😆 I wish they made the third movie like they were planning to 😕 Here's the trailer if you haven't seen it 😆

But most of today's comedy film-makers try so hard to be funny that the film loses its humor 🤔 And half the time the jokes are inappropriate

@ Varni - arre wah, SO many other favorite movies in common! I absolutely LOVED 3 Idiots, have watched it sooo many times and haven't cared much for any of the movies that came out since then because IMO nothing measured up to that standard 😆 Kahaani was pretty good though, as was Vicky Donor. I would check out both of them if you haven't already. Oh and Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year with Ranbir was also really good, Wake Up Sid was another contemporary favorite. From the 90s I like the ones you mentioned, plus some of Akshay's action stuff like Mohra and Main Khiladi Tu Anari and also many Madhuri movies... especially with Anil, stuff like Beta and Jamaai Raja. And many others that I can't think of right now, basically I watch too damn many movies 😆

@ Nishipie - MUNNABHAI!!!!!! How could I forget! Loved both, but the first one tugs at the heartstrings just a tad bit more... the humor is equally awesome in both though. I've seen the Munnabhai Chale America promo, they released it ages ago but the movie's been a long time in the making. I'm sure it'll be awesome though! Haven't seen Malamaal Weekly, was that any good? You're right about current comedies though - most of them try wayyy too hard to fit the American Pie screwball genre, and it gets old fast.
