hey guys how are you , well i have a tutorial for making avi , with frames on it , for that u need
- photoshop cs3
- a video downloaded frm yt
- a texture
ok lets start
well we will be importing the video in layers , for that , u must be having quicktime player, if you dont have here is the link , the movie u download from the yt is not in .mov format , so u must convert the video in mov format , you can download any converter and turn the video in mov format
step 2:
play the video , and stop it from where u want to start , after deciding ur start point hold shift key and drag the video till the end point , it will show like a portion selected dark gey as shown in the picture
step 3:
as you see that layers are made , they wil show layers in two place one in animation window and other in layers selection , delete the layers which you dont want to keep in the avi and delete it from both sides , here ur simple avi is ready , try to make the avi with in 200 to 300 layers
step 4:
ok now u have done the deleting work , now start working with the texture/ frame we will set ,
-first in animation window select first layer
- go to image -> image size -> i kept the size 200 x 200
ur avi wil be 200 x 200 now

ok now open it in photoshop by simple open , and press CTRL + A it will select whole then CTRL+C,
now most imp thing
the texture using in the avi , in the layers window not animation window , paste the texture above all if it is small then press CTRL+T to transform it and spread it to whole screen ,
please please be careful u r working above all the layers and in animation window ur first layer is selected
now to make selection , keep working on the texture layer , take rectangular tool and make a rectangular in the middle , it make a selection , then right click on it , choose feather , put value 25 and it will reduce the selection , then hit delete button ur result will be like this
it was easy
this way you can make more layers on it and use brushes , patters and many more things , you can copy the layers of colourings and paste above all and tht wuld enhance ur avi more
now save it , go to file save for web & devices
keep the settings as below
