Astitva is one of the best serials on TV.
I do not know what Mr. Sinha is trying to prove by
two Daughters raised by the mothers other than the
mothers gave birth to them.
1)The girl who was stolen and raised in a London
away from the Indian culture is more intelligent, mature
and submissive like her real mother Dr. Simron.
2) Aastha raised by a mature mother and mature grand
parents on both the sides is grown up stubborn, uncooperative, disrespectful to elders and
self center. She does not understand what "KIRAN" is
doing to her and she started drinking.

I do not understand what writer is trying to prove.
If the writer is trying to give credit to the foreign
raised children. His writing is welcome. i have seen
foreign raised indian grils who are more simple and
indian than their own counterpart in India and vice a versa.

I think Astitva has given solution to lot of problems of people in its
show. I do not know where the writer is taking us to
show a contrast between the two sisters of the same father but different

mothers

.

Writer has done a great favor to "SIA"'s character.
If I can understand what the writer is trying to do
I probably will enjoy the show.
I do not like that the Parents, Grand Parents all
are helpless in front of "AASTHA"'s character.

thanks

I do not know who to contact to give my frustrating view about the TV series Astitva. I am not too much into soap opera type dramas because I know that even if I am gone from this world, that drama will never be completed. It will go on and on. I started watching Astitva just a couple of months ago, and I must say that I found it to be very different. However, for the past month, I cannot believe what I have been seeing. Simran, although a very good actress has been given the role of a GODDESS, (she never gets mad), and Astha, made out to be a witch. It does not make sense to see a young Indian girl so disobedient, has no respect for her elders, and always doing what she wants to do. Can the Director please improve on this? Also, the most recent episode shows KIRAN coming back. Goodness gracious me. The Director has lost all imagination . Please don't make this drama or series into something that just seems fake. I am looking forward to seeing some good and practical scenes in the near future. Namaste.

well.. i feel the reason why astha is that way is cause Simran has spoiled her by giving her way too much attention and love. While Sia mighht not have been raised that way

Kinnu: If you don't like it so much, there is a choice - to not watch it. Do something better or find another serial you like.

I totally agree with you, kbakshi. Astha's role depicts a spoilt child. For an Indian screen, yeh shobha nahin deti. I have relatives and friends whose daugthers were born right here in USA, but their behavior is so good. They respect their elders, cook food and do all the chores that an Indian girl is supposed to do. They have respect for their elders, and if they do answer back, they know that it will not be tolerated. Anyway, I would like to see what happens later on.
