II, as usual, you've hit the nail right on the head...

I'm just going to add that anyone crying is an expression of emotion, happy, sad, angry, hurt - and is natural. It's natural to seek comfort from people around you. The story centers around Simran, so we see/hear her crying more than others, but her age is irrelevant to how much she cries. Sim works in an industry where she deals with life and death constantly - 2 events which are incredibly emotional events. As a facilitator to those events, she's allowed to express emotion. (emote). Beyond this, as a mother, and even moreso as a women's advocate, she sees issues like rape, abuse, etc all the time and I Can tell you personally, as a counsellor, if she didn't cry, she would not be realistic. People who work in supporting fields (medical/psychological) are always considered so strong, because at work they deal with so much emotion and put on their game faces - but in their down time, they are often more fragile than the average individual

Thanks for that Victory

Another point I meant to make in my posting is about how some people think that simran is responsible for neha's death...ummm - i just don't understand why some of the people here think that....

Simran at no point showed professional misconduct in her dealings with neha.
Telling neha to abstain from physical relations with abhi is not leading her the way to deaths door....
I agree she did temporarily and unknowingly become the other woman there...she herself acepted this. But she also did very well in rectifying that situation..And now you guys put yourselves in her postition...how difficult it must have been for her to do that - for her to stay away from abhi (the love of her life), for her to still look after neha - at neha's insistance.

In fact, Neha then herself realized what a great person simran was (altho astha and her bhaktas don't 😃 ) and hence even before the time of delivery she had decided that if her kid was a girl, then she wanted her to become just like dr.simran. On her deathbed, she was about to say to abhi and simran to get together but couldn't as her health deteriorated again. Finally, she just about managed to request simran to bring up her daughter as her own. So, my question to you guys is, if Neha didn't accuse simran of her own death, then why are you? Is it because radhaji is?

Well, from my understanding of the situation, radhaji only accused simran from a medical point of view, in that she said simran deliberately did not do enough to help neha during her difficult delivery. We, as viewers, saw what happened in the delivery room, and are witness to the fact that simran did her utmost to save neha, aren't we? Radhaji's accusations are based simply on her disturbed mental state of mind which came about as a result of the shock of her daughters death - this is something i understand, as does simran. 😉 ..and it is also forgivable, i feel. However, unfortunately, radhaji has not been able to sustain a reasonable state of mental health, and so, for her own benefit as well as the other people around her, she is being kept in a mental asylum, for now anyway.

Hope that helps to clarify the matter...

Well II, finally I get someone to concur with me to state that Simran was not responsible for Neha's death... I have this question in 2 other topics... I do not get it when they say Simran should have guilt of having killed Neha...

Why do people think that crying is a sign of weakness???
or that it's a prerogative of the female species???
Being emotional and giving vent to ones sorrows by way of crying has nothing to do with age, sex, status nor does it stand for failure.
Just like some believe in the laughter therapy, there is a school of thought that in some situations one should cry one's heart out.Believe me,it makes your heart feel lighter.

I am,I have to admit a "Ajai Sinha Bhakt" than anything else.So I love the characters Simran,Abhi,Astha and MANAS equally.Honestly,I do know people like them, except maybe for Astha.(Thank God for that)I have come across brats who are rude, but Astha crosses all limits.

Sorry Aloogobi, drifted away from your question.
I think Simran would opt for Astha(very unfair to Sia and herself)because she genuinely wants to win back her Aasthu.

II, Akshata, Vazz... & All

Is crying just a sign of the female species? cause I have 2 major attractions...a man in a tie/suit, and one who will cry with me;)

(sorry, an aside!)

as a man, i would like to say i don't think it is a sign of just the female species...as a man, i'd like to be able to cry more readily, but i just can't...I know others can though, and i don't look down on them ...

I know I can cry at the drop of a hat... but it is just me.. my husband cannot cry... no matter what... so far... it has been a decade. But that does not mean he is not sympethetic towards my sorrow. When the situation warrants it, he is with me... but does not cry.. which in a way helps me because I get that strength from him that its ok to move on.

Crying constantly is not a sign of weakness. but if the crying persists and you are unable to come up with a solution and are unable to move on.. then it is a weakness.

Oops!!Sorry Aloo Gobi,i forgot to mention my opinion on your question:

I think Simran wud choose Aastha as she always felt that she owes Neha that much as it was Neha's last wish on her deathbed! And Simran being Simran, wud do the wrong thing for herself always, just to please others!! 😭
