Astitva is a STUPID drama!!!

I really enjoyed Astitva when it started. I really liked Dr.Simran's role? I always want women to be that strong. Everything was going well until Abhi and Neha got married...I slowly started hating Dr.Simran....and now I hate the DRAMA TOTALLY.....

what is the director/writer/producer trying to show??I havent read the updates and I dont care....Im not sure where u guys are in india/uk but in USA we are where Sia gets to know that she isnt Archana's daughter and where Astha finds out that she isnt Simran's daughter...now..what kind of relationships is the writer trying to built...

-why did they have to make Sia fall in love with Anand(her own real father)?...and he is also falling for her...according to Bhavani..who CARES about the age difference...doesnt he think for ONCE that Anand(abhi) has a daughter who is almost(well younger then Sia) Sia's age???? what kind of a dirty relation is the writer gonna build..she could have seen him like a fatherly figure...how will she face Abhi or how will Abhi face Sia when they will know the truth...and WHY is Bhavani PUSHING anand(abhi) to fall in love with Sia.....on one hand he wants him to go back to his family..i.e...Simran and Astha..and on the other hand he wants him ACCEOT HIS LOVE for Sia...huh...

-Astha is a TOTAL SPOILED BRAT...she doesnt respect anyone..short-tempered and over pampered gal...and now(I saw a preview on ZEE) she would insult Simran and accuse her for her mother(neha's) death...wow....a woman who raised her with so much love,care and pampered her so much gets this in return????...I know that Astha is hurt but she shouldnt insult Simran....

-the writer is totally UNFAIR with Neha's mom......the writer is always trying to justify Dr.Simran....he/she doesnt care about Neha's mom feels.....she is right to hate Simran in some ways...Simran did play a role of DOSRI AURAT(second woman) in Abhi's life..she was the reason for ALL NEHA's tensions and depressions....Abhi was TOTALLY her pet even after he married Neha...thought he wasnt a kid..he never respected Simran when they were married and left her for Kiran but when he got married with Neha...he and Simran SUDDENLY realized that they are MADE FOR EACHOTHER...huh....Simran IS responsible for Neha-Abhi's breakup...if Kiran played a SECOND woman in Abhis life so did Simran...and Im more in Neha's mom's side....she lost her ONLY daughter and she only has Astha now..but Simran doesnt wanna tell her the truth as she is SELFISH...but Im sure once she will get SIA(who is real Astha back) her love will change for Astha(neha's daughter)...and then ALL HER MAMTA will be for Sia...

I say it's a shame you haven't been coming to the site, reading sree's wonderful updates and taking an active part in the discussions, and for 2 reasons in particular;

1) you obvioulsy have a lot to contribute to the discussions and can make some good points;

2) we've discussed all this already....

As it happens, I used to think this was a wierd storyline, but having seen the episodes up to this point where simran and abhi are about to meet and everyone is going to "find" each other, I think the writers have handled the sia/abhi matter very well. In fact the best part is that "abhi" has handled it so well...keep watching - most of us here thought our interest was waning up to about a couple of weeks ago (so another 2 weeks to go for u), but now we are finding it very interesting again...

I'm not sure what exactly is your point. You said that you think Astitva is Stupid. I'm not sure why you think this way.

If you think that that they're aren't people like Simran, Abhi, Neha, Kiran, Sid, Astha, in the world then I think you are mistaken.

This show is based on Ajay's view points of human emotions and interactions. This is his story and these are his characters, to say that this is stupid is like mocking someone's opinions and views. That's not stupid.

Ajay created a show partly based on reality and partly on fiction, since Astiva is not specifically based on someone's real life. If you ask me, i'm sure there are people out there that represent all the characters in Astiva and the issues dealt in the show do exist.

His purpose was to create a show for the purpose of entertainment and to also send out his views and ideas to the viewers that want to accept them. You may not agree, but that doesn't mean that it's stupid.

Just my thoughts!

Well, i think that the show was only FINE until the leap..now its sorta...um..boring...JUST MY THOUGHTS

all of you guyz are right in your own opinions...i felt exactly don't_butter at first..i quit watching the show altogether..but i'm those type of people who wants to know wat actually happened even if i'm not interested i dont' want to leave anything undone or unknown..ya know? but as i read sree's updates the more i was getting hooked..i think everything in the show is going great now..you should maybe try to watch it again..and i think your feeling toward the show will change..if not..then you don't have to watch it and you dont' even have to discuss it...just wat i think...no offense to anyone😛

You are somehow right regarding Radhaji's feelings, I totally agree with you .Everyone is concerned about Simran's feeling just becuase she is the main character of Astitva and so part of her nature which is selfish is just ignored.

i really liked astitva when it started. it used 2 be one of my favorite shows. but as soon as the kiran thing started it went lower and lower and its just a bunch of junk.😡

i agree on some of ur points- Aastha a spoilt brat and Neha's Moms feelings. but u see.. Radhaji's feelings are the same as Simran's (dont forget Simran also lost her only daughter), Simran knows Radhaji is very emotional and can do anything when extreme.... and we saw tht when Radhaji was bout to burn her own house and Aastha, can can any normal person do tht to her own grand daughter??? only a mentally ill could .. thts y Simran dint let Radhaji meet her grand daughter..

Only Simran, Neha and Poonam know wat were Neha's last words.. Neha's last wish and to fulfil tht wish Simran forgot all about her own daughter and made somebody else her daughter..for life.. can Radhaji do tht? or can anyone do tht? its a great sacrifice done by Simran!

and another proof is Aastha herself, Simran gave her SOO much love tht she became a spoilt brat!.. again Simran always cared for Aastha as her own child... knowing tht she isnt... and wat Simran got in return.. is insult.. and pain..

well, Astitva did become boring at some point of time but now its reaching its climax. its upto u to watch or not..every body has different choices and thinking as we all know and the director of Astitva has his own, Astitva isnt a stupid serial, at least its not the dum saans-bahu types... where u have so many negative characters, when u finish watching the show u learn nothing but to pass ur comments on every character.

Astitva is different, it teaches us something, it has a message, it tells us how women can elevate their status.. either by being a Doctor (Simran), journalist (Neha), Model (Kiran) and others... it teaches us how people can b make themselves multi-talented(Abhi)- Photographer, Writer, Journalist, Pottery maker, Painter, cook... and so on.... it tells us how to behave with ppl below our status.. (Shaguna)she mayb the maid of the house but is just like a family member... it tells us how relationships can be - Manas and Simran, only love isnt the relation between man and a woman, it tells us someday ppl will realize their mistakes... (Urmila)and all the characters... teach us something!

Just learn the good things from all tht u c.... and u'll know tht theres alot to know.....Dont just c the bad points... appreciate the good ones too!

its upto u to watch Astitva or any other drama... just benefit urself by it... if u wanna watch, then watch if u dont then dont!

It was Nehas own insecurity and jealousy, Simran was not out to have an affair with Abhay and most of the time she was always there to either help Neha, Abhay or Neha's mother. Neha realized her mistake in the end and thats why she handed over her daughter to Simran, Do you think any woman would knowingly hand over her own daughter to the so called Doosri Aurat when the father, grandparents are alive? she obviously realized the goodness inherent in Simran and that is why she asked Simran to make Aastha just like herself ie like simran,I agree the Sia/ Anand story line is screwed up and disgusting and why the story is taking such a turn is beyond me, maybe they had to show something so horrible and repulsive that it would catch the viewers eye cos of the ratings>?? E'one does pay attention to such storylines disgusting and distasteful tho they may be, TMHO and YMMV
