I agree with you Sree. After I read the article in Mid-day about Abhi that he will be shown as a writer who is based abroad, same thoughts crossed my mind that Divya may have been brought up by Abhi.

Another guess is that Divya may be Abhimanyu Joshi's daugther because Manu was the one who had seen/loved Simran during college days and he may have tried to give the qualities of Simran to Divya. That is why Simran said that she was reminded of her college days when she saw Divya.
