Aastha promises Simran to do well in her exams and do the family proud. Since it is Sonu's birthday, Simran, urmila, Victor, Divya and Aastha give him a midnight surprise by giving him gifts and celebrating with pizza and cake. The next morning, Simran gifts him a Tata Sumo. Aastha feels insecure about everyone showering attention on Divya. Divya and Victor leave for Goa and Divya gives Simran a book by Ananda as a gift. Aastha is studying in the college library when she leaves it to go to the toilet and comes across a professor trying to molest a student, Zareena. Aastha gets angered and goes to the girl's rescue but the professor flees in his car. Aastha runs after him and throws stones at his car to stop him. The professor and Zareena are both surprised to see this.
