Sonu tells Urmila that she has really grown old because the girl in the photo is not Aastha but an old neighbour. After Aastha leaves the room, Simran tells Urmila the truth about Aastha and Gudia and that she is Abhi and neha's daughter. She also tells urmila that Saurabh had agreed to get Abhi and her married but he didn't turn up at all, since he had read Neha's diary wherein she had mentioned that she was very insecure because of Simran. He felt responsible for neha;s death and hence left a note for Simran and gone away without leaving an address. Since that day Simran had changed her name to Simran Saxena and never let Aastha know about all this. Urmila asks Simran what will happen when somebody tells Aastha about the truth? To this, Simran replies that that is what she fears.
