what is wrong with simran. why is she ill. is astha gone ,what has happened to her.

If you are talking of Aastha junior, yes, she died in a terrorist attack/bomb blast.. That happens after Aastha reconciles with her family and realizes her mistake and apologizes to all.. Simran's in-laws, Simran's Dad, Abhi, Sia and Shaguna go for a pilgrimage to celebrate Aastha's return and Simran and Aastha start the next day by bus as Simran had to attend to an eye donation campaign.. Someone had planted a bomb in the bus they were travelling in.. Aastha presumably died in the bomb blast (her body has not been found) and Simran lost her eyesight in the attack..This is what happened in brief. Hope it helps..
