[/quote]yes it was a big change from Saudi Arabia to USA & my kids were very little 6&3 at that time & its hard to settle at a new place with totally diff. culture & ppl. when we moved to canada it was not that hard as we were used to of this new culture & then the boys were a little older. My sister lives in Karachi actually both of my sisters, my mom & brother all in karachi & like u I always go to see them & I want them to come here but ......
We like Canada better then USA too specially ahad & Asad they love it here, well there r about 12 families of my husband's cousins lives here all here in mississauga & brampton area & I love the gatherings on eid, bakreid, muharram & ramadan.
Another question:
Write 3 bad things about me and at least 3 good things about yourself
3 bad things about Chikoo :
1) You r a dangerously humorous person 😆
2) You r against Simran-Sia specially in IF 😕
3) You r an absent-minded person(as you've just mentioned )
3 good things about me:
1) I always agree with ur posts. 👍🏼
2) I still watch Astitva. 😃
3) I am giving u the answers of these questions 😛
Hi Rubina
I must say, you are getting some real tough ones, but you are there, answering wonderfully!!!
Thanks Sree and all of you for asking me such wonderful questions 😊, last night after reading answers of all of the questions, my daughter told me that: "it looks like u r writing an exam or something!" 😆
How will you have handled a girl like Astha? (Sorry, this is just for imagination!!!)
If I would have to handle a daughter like Astha, then I would definitely clear things up no matter if she isn't ready to listen or disagree with whatever I would say. We have to speak up with our children especially with stubborn kids like Astha. I would never leave a daughter like her alone, and would try to convince her with my point of view. And, at the same time, would try to wash out her negative feelings by giving her lots of love.
What do you think about Simran, the person?
Simran is a strong, loyal, understanding, and a very committed lady who is always very sincere and loving in all her relationships, the only weak point I've seen in her so far, is that she is not very expressive in clearing things up. One thing I didn't like about her was her behaviour with Neha. I could never imagine how a person like Simran could not realize that she is the cause of others' unhappiness. Usually people like Simran have full control over their emotions, unfortunately, she doesn't.
Who according to you acts very well in Astitva?
I think everyone in the serial is doing their job very well. But Astitva wouldn't call Astitva without the presence of Simran, Abhi, Mathur Sahib and Shaguna 😛
How do you think Ajay Sinha will end this serial?
I agree with the members who r saying that Ajay Sinha is just dragging the story. He would have ended the serial just after Aastha realized her mistakes and returned back to her family. Now story became so confusing that I can't think of an appropriate ending of the story. 😕
Do you sing? If so, which is the song you hum all the time?
I do sing-when I am alone 😆 ofcourse, since my voice is not very melodious. Most of the time I hum the popular songs, which I've heard recently as my second son and daughter are fond of listening to music. Sometimes they force me to listen to their favorite songs 😃
How many languages do you know?
I can speak Urdu, English and understand Punjabi but can't speak. I can understand a little bit of Arabic (not much though)I am not very good in learning languages 😔
Will be back with more questions....

ok - my next question....explain the above rapport between scorpi and chikoos
..cos the unintelligent like me do not understand it - honest, i don't..
Awwwww ii don't take it on ur heart, that was just a joke😕 …All of you are asking very nice and intelligent questions, I am really grateful to all of you 😳
scorpio_pk wrote:The way to handle children is the thing I learned from my parents, they were more like a friend for me and my brothers…. I used to share everything with my mother because I don't have a sister, she never let me feel that I have no sister in my life.
It is nice to know that you consider your mom as a friend!! I can relate to that very well as my mom too is like a friend to me and I too do not have sisters! Yes, parents do become role models for their children to raise their children.
Yes Pallavi, it always happens that if the girl is the only daughter, then she naturally gets attached with her mother. 😊 Now my daughter shares her personal matters with me just like I did with my mother.. .
You said you like Canada better than the US. In what way are people different? Is it their lifestyle or their outward behavior or both? I have only made brief visits to Canada so I don't know much about the place.
That was just my opinion based on my personal experiences. I've noticed that the young generation is more fashionable and bold in USA, I didn't like their opinions about the family values etc. Or maybe it's just me that thinks this way because I used to live in an area where mostly Spanish ppl lived, and their culture is way different than ours. In Canada, ppl are more attached to the family life where the younger generation prefers to live with the parents and lifestyle is also simpler than that in USA. Most of the population in Canada consists of the ppl of different nationalities which may have the similar culture as ours and that may be the reason for me to prefer this Country 😃. Again its just my opinion by observing some particular things, all depends on what a person has been through in his/her experience. 😛

No problem Sara 😊 you are always welcome..

All 3 of them blamed me for preferring the others 😆 , u r so right it always happens . Although mother's love for every child is the same but some times she has to favour the child who is on the right path and sometimes just to show extra care and love for an extra-sensitive child. 😊

Farhana nice to know about you 😊 I think that was more difficult for you to settle with the kids of the ages 6 & 3 but the good thing in Asian people is that wherever we live we never forget our culture.. 😊
scorpio_pk wrote:I find Canada much better than USA, ppl are more civilized and life is more peaceful than in USA…..I would never imagine spending my life in USA ( some ppl may be disagree with me as I am talking about my own experience only, no offence plz ) I find lifestyle in Canada is similar as in Saudi Arabia, the only advantage u r getting here that u r free to share responsibilities with ur life partner unlike in Saudi Arabia…And I miss the gatherings and social life we used to have there. I find the life in North America is very formal.

Same here Farhana 😊 my kids love it here and fortunately we also have some relatives here but never get chance to visit them on a regular basis. We gather on special occasions only .
