Problem couples ++

Why does it happen with most of the couples shown in Astitva, do not have any good family life?
1. Simran had problems in her marraige.
2. Simran's dad had problems with his wife and later she passed away
3. Siman's younger sister had relationship prior to her marriage and she died
4. Simran's youngest sister's husband died and then married Pranaya and now no kids 😕
5. Urmila had a troubled married life
6. Dr Dalal's husband and her maid had problems
7. Mrs Radha Joshi fell in love with a marriaed man and had illegitimate daughter Neha
8. Anil Shourie is yet another addition in the list
9. Abhi had problems whoever he married with

Now this Dr Sakshi Joshi. She is also not happy in her marriage. I wonder, if this statistics is even close to reality? Sakshiji marriied 6 years ago and she was a doctor before itself, so she must not be less than 32 or 33 years. She does not have any kids either.

Director has added another masala couple and wants to show the problems usually faced by girls married with NRI guy and problems faced by them. He has already shown many social problems and recent ones include - drugs, condoms, terrorism etc. to name a few!

All together yet another crap!

Totally agree. This is not close to reality. No one in the serial is happy, Neither with their spouses nor with their kids. Now there will be another problem with Sia-Sid and the new entry. Too much unhappiness

I agree with you, Chikoo. With the exception of Abhi's parents and Pranay-Rashmi (OK, they had no kids but at least their marriage was not troubled), all marriages have had troubles..Even Abhi's father was actually ready to throw his wife out when she supported Kiran. Dr. Brian and his wife Janet had a good marriage but they barely made guest appearances! I don't know whether Saakshi has intentionally decided not to have kids as yet because of their troubled marriage (makes sense if that is the case!).

To add to this,
Sia/Astha ( whatever her name may be) and Sid will not have an easy relationship, as Gaurav has entered.
Kiran's son am sure has made an entry now... whoever it was at the end of the episode.
For all you know.. Gaurav will turn out to be Kiran's friend and there starts another drama that will take us down the drain !!! 😡

So true - everyone has problems.

From what I have seen on these tele-serials, and Astitva is no exception -- if anyone is shown to be happy and problem-free, are people interested in watching the serial? Every serial I have seen, there are rivalries, jealousies, enemity, affairs, plotting to bring the other down, etc. etc. The producers seem to think that this is what people want to watch? Just speculating.

I agree, but at least one happy satisfied couple would be more than enough.

All Simran's actions are always dealt with in detail. Can Sinha not explained the rationale for Rashmi not having kids? He could have come with yet another gynac problem but something....

I personally feel that after having a kid some of the problems between the couples get solved because they do not have that much time to fight and most of their energy is drained looking after the kid.

I think director chose to show no kids to Sakshi, because she would not have left her kids to do social work for Dr Simran. We would not have sympathy with Sakshi then anymore. 😃

True, or they could have shown Rashmi opting not to have kids. I know of a few couples (not too many of course) who have voluntarily chosen not to have kids for some reason or other. Fair enough, if they have some other ambition/dream in life. At least they are clear as to what they want and realize truly they can't do justice to the kid if they do have one. I think Saakshi would probably not have left her kids if she did have any, she would have left her husband along with her kid/kids..:-) I am not saying that is the best thing in the world to do as kids need both parents but better this than kids living through and seeing a real bad marriage (if the marriage in fact is that bad).

Hey I am not sure, but i do think I recall Rashmi talking about kids in one of the earliest episodes.....saying like ' bachche bhi settle hone lag gaye hain' or something to that effect. Can someone recollect anything?
